most entrees are $14-$16. They have your typical $23 steak or porkchop, but overall it's not expensive at all

Agreed. I've only eaten there once, but I thought the food quality and the service were solid. Price was not unreasonable.

I don't understand why Belmont has such a rep in Austin as being "too upscale". Maybe I've spent too much time in Dallas.
