It looks awesome. I'd love to see a football game use an actual physics engine and not the animation crap that EA uses.

Do you see what would happen, Larry? This is what would happen Larry. This is what would happen, Larry, if EA did not have an exclusive license to yearly FUCK US IN THE ASS.

From what I've read, more details will provided at E3 in a couple weeks.

Great, If EA didn't have that exclusive license these guys would be wearing NFL jerseys with names along with 2K sports continuing their NFL games. Imagine the football competition.
Fuck EA Sports.

The point of the game isn't to be 'smart', I don't think. Pretty sure it's only to show off the cool tackles and physics in general. Honestly, I hope they're trying to make a big impression so one of these big developers will pick up the engine.

Does EA have a history of picking up engines from other companies? I don't know of any and considering they would rather sign exclusive deals rather than face competition I'm not sure they would buy the engine.

Dude... that isn't the game. They are just showing off what the engine can do. The plan is to make a standard football game, although they have said they aim to make it a little bit arcady. Sounds like they are aiming for something in between Madden and Blitz.
Some of it looks good but I'm a bit turned off by every would-be tackler leaving his feet. It isn't realistic and just doesn't look right to me. This is also a problem with the EA games.
