The TT-KSU volleyball match was postponed yesterday because so many of the TT players had the flu:

The Big 12 Conference has announced that tonight's volleyball match between Texas Tech and Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan., has been postponed. In accordance with Conference bylaws every effort shall be made to reschedule the match at the earliest possible date.

The decision to postpone was made in consultation with administrators from both institutions in the interest of public health as a result of a flu virus infecting the Texas Tech squad.

Is this a Big XII policy for all sports?

Swine flu is no joke.

Not nearly as serious as the normal varieties we get. Very few complications.

They should have played . TT is the worst VB program in the B 12. The are pitiful. It would not have mattered they would have lost either way.

You won't be getting a swine flu shot next week. That's not out until October 15th at the earliest.

Its very possible this year at some point a contender will outright lose a game due to the flue. I.e. only dress like 60, and have lots of backups and walkons playing.

What does this have to do with football?

Say mid-October rolls around and [s:fec3ac47a1]Sam Bradford's shoulder is still hurt[/s:fec3ac47a1] OU reports that half their team has the flu and can't play.

Will the Big XII force the game to be rescheduled?
