fayetteville shale
black warrior basin (me rolling like thunder chasing the wind, holla)
that other one on the western side of the range in CO

i've been blabbing about this on HF and now i will blab about it here.

the fayetteville shale is huge. it's not leased up, it's close to home, mineral acquisitions are still cheap, and you're not going to be shaken down on service costs. it's like the barnett was a few years back. we began test drilling up there in late summer and so far all is tickety-boo save a few suspensions pending formation evaluation problems, and one giant blow out.

the point of the thread. pay attention to these little publicly traded outfits (some featured in the article) that are gaining momentum up there. thank me later.

You speak the truth, this one is going to be huge. I worked 6 months in Arkansas, not too bad a state if you can tolerate all the hillbillies.

of course i speak the truth. i am the local authoriti on unconventional mid-continent resource plays.

so the question becomes: how are you positioned to take advantage of this orgy?

hillbillies make me nervous, btw.

Open up a chain of trailer parks through the area. A hotel wouldn't be a bad idea either. The hotels around El Dorado stay full about year round.

why not buy a bunch of RVs and rent them to drilling crews? uppidy drillers need their luxury.

That's like saying prison rape isn't that bad as long as you don't mind being held down and anally violated.

GOO, don't answer that.
