Remember back in the day when you could blow up shit in the middle of your street? Bottle rockets, blackcats, super-duper sky rocket shit?
Can't do that anymore.
It's nothing new but...
I saw on the news last night that the good people of Waco are taking this shit pretty serious. If you cross over Lake Waco there are a ton of fireworks stand. But if you buy them and cross back over into Waco city limits....THAT'S YO ASS. They said on the news that Waco PD will be posted up on both sides of the bridge waiting for you stupid ass to buy some shit and try to take it home.
I just wanted some "sparklers" for my kids to play with on New Year's Eve. NOPE.
I remember this was a big deal when I was a kid. I guess they think it's too "dangerous" now. Hell I have a cousin that would fuck up his hand every damn year popping firecrackers. I mean New Year's wasn't official until his little dumb ass was screaming and running into my aunt's house holding his hand. btw....he's 30 and STILL a student at Texas A&M....go figure.
No Dick Clark
No fireworks
NONE of that shit
What are our kids memories of New Year's eve gonna be like? Playing Wii and sending text messages? That's weak.
