View Full Version : "The Real UT"
What's with the Tennessee players saying "The Real UT" on MNF player intros?
When did they get an inferiority complex?

I always thought it would be cool if our NFL guys just said "Hook 'em".
Casey Hampton did that and gave props after we won our MNC.

Bo Scaife must've read this thread, before playing last Sunday night.

I saw Scaife say "the real UT" as well. Considering he plays for the Titans, I say Bo did us proud. Pissed off a bunch of Tennessee people.

last time I was in Knoxville, all I heard was how The University of Tennessee was a school before Texas was a state... I reply that Texas was its own country when Tennessee was just a bunch of hills and whiskey stills.

All we need to say is "Texas".
They can have "UT" all they want. I'm willing to cut them some slack..if it weren't for a brave group of men from Tennessee, Texas wouldn't be a state.

And now this? I noticed 4-days-ago-to-2-weeks-ago some totally random 3rd Bass reference you made. In some random thread. It was noted because it was as perfect as it was random. And that was why it was so right.
The stuff that draws massive attention on this site is generally useless. It is the little posts that matter.
