Poker Tourneys in Lake Charles

anyone ever been and played in them?? are they decent, what are the payouts/buy ins etc?? and how early do you need to get there to sign up?

i used to have the schedule memorized, but that was before poker really got big and blew up,

you used to find buy-ins anywhere from 20 to 300, but only 1 or 2 tourney's per day

yeah... it appears Isle of Capri and Coushatta are the only options.... Saturday tournaments are pretty damn expensive.... Friday nights and Sunday afternoons aren't bad.. about $100 or so once you buy-in and re-buy etc..

how is the level of play? how many tables do they have for the tournaments?

I played in Vegas recently and the buy-ins were $60-80 with about 50-60 people playing...
