$#@! Paterno for pulling a Ken Lay.
JoePed would have had to have been Chance the Gardener in $#@!ing black Nikes for Novak's scenario to be plausible. It also flies in the face of everything known about how JoePed ran that program with an iron fist up until the last couple of years (well past the '99 and '02 events). Well after 2002, JoePed was still forcing out university vice-presidents who dared to suggest that football players be brought under general university disciplinary procedures and throwing the university President out of his house for timidly asking only when he might consider retiring.
How has someone not killed Sandusky yet?
http://news.yahoo.com/sanduskys-alle...041258074.htmlEight of the 10 men who prosecutors contend were sexually abused by former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky were abused on the college campus, and one was just 8 years old at the time, according to court documents released on Thursday.
The documents showed six may also have been abused at the home of Sandusky, 68, who faces 52 counts of abuse stemming from accusations he molested the 10 boys between 1994 and 2008.
...
Documents released by prosecutors said eight victims were sexually abused by Sandusky on the Penn State campus in State College, Pennsylvania. The accusers or witnesses said the abuse occurred in the campus football building, in dormitories, in locker rooms, in showers and in an outdoor pool, the documents said.
They also reported abuse in Sandusky's car and at a local hotel as well as in Texas and Florida, the documents said.
Despite the new information, Sandusky's defense attorney, Joe Amendola, told Reuters he had been hoping for more information on the accusers and the nature of their allegations in the so-called bill of particulars.
"We may file a motion in the near future for a more specific response from the Commonwealth to our request for a bill of particulars," Amendola said.
"We don't believe any of the information in the Commonwealth's response will alter our defense. We are continuing with the preparation of Jerry's defense with the goal of obtaining an acquittal on all the charges filed against him," he said.
Attorney General Linda Kelly said in court papers her office still has not identified so-called Victim 2 and Victim 8.
The boys' ages when the alleged abuse began ranged from 8 to 13 years old, according to the court documents.
Sandusky's trial is slated to start with jury selection on May 14 in Bellefonte in Centre County. Representatives for Penn State were not immediately available to comment.
Some of the shops here are just disgraceful compared to the quality on the shag:

If a crime occurred in Texas, we should be prosecuting it here shouldn't we?
Pretty Sure San Antonio PD and prosecutors announced a while back that they were looking into it.
Bring him to WilCo where he can be properly crucified.
Sandusky’s comments included the following:
“We’ve had a very good year fundraising and we continue to grow programs and reach out and touch more and more kids which is the bottom line and most important thing.”
“… It’s a statewide organization now. We have nine different programs, we have three offices and seven chapters around the state.
“We reach out and touch, through these nine programs, well over 100,000 children.”

65% said that they should also put a roof on it to cover it up.
Bleeding Young Boy's $#@! in the Shower Stadium Tacitly Sponsored by the Penn State University Administration
Do these people seriously not understand how $#@!ed up they are?
If they rename the stadium after Paterno, they plan on a redesign of the men's restrooms.

Penn State won the NCAA wrestling championship today. Thankfully for the university that doesn't lend itself to jokes of any kind.
It wasn't wrestling, just horseplay.
So if a State Pen wrestler gets a pin, is it called a Sandusky?
http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireSto...le-98-15994218A psychologist who looked into a 1998 allegation against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky told police at the time that his behavior fit the profile of a likely pedophile, NBC News reported Saturday.
Yet Sandusky was never criminally charged, nor placed on a state registry of suspected child abusers, and prosecutors say he continued assaulting boys for more than a decade until his arrest in November.
NBC obtained a copy of the campus police department's investigatory report on an encounter in which Sandusky was accused of having inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old boy with whom he had showered naked on the Penn State campus.
The police file includes the report of State College psychologist Alycia Chambers, who interviewed and providing counseling to the boy.
"My consultants agree that the incidents meet all of our definitions, based on experience and education, of a likely pedophile's pattern of building trust and gradual introduction of physical touch, within a context of a 'loving,' 'special' relationship," Chambers wrote.
Up here we still hear that this was nothing but a plot by the Board of Trustees to get rid of Saint Joe Paterno.....The Nitters are a strange bunch....delusional to say the least.
I've been reading this all afternoon. About time someone updated this monstrously long thread. Please, whatever you do, don't start a new one with breaking news.
Okay, see, this is the difference . . . with regard to those of us who are NOT pedophiles, you could get 5 child psychologists to look at our relationships with kids, and they would take about 10 minutes to conclude that we are not pedophiles. The fact that ther is a credible professional opinion out there that Sandusky was a pedophile is a KILLER to PSU's defense in the civil cases.Sandusky's attorney, Joseph Amendola, told The Associated Press on Saturday that Seasock's report was "exculpable" and that the 1998 incident was not as clear-cut as Chambers made it out to be.
"We could get five psychologists, child psychologists, who specialize maybe in sexual dysfunctions or pedophilia look at the same case and talk to the same people and come up with five different conclusions," he said in a phone interview.
The standard is not one of "beyond a reasonable doubt" in that case, both as to what PSU should have done and even as to Sandusky's guilt in the earlier cases.
The question will effectively be "would a reasonable person, equipped with the information that PSU had (which includes a report that concludes not just that Sandusky molested one boy, but that his behavior was that of a classic pedophile), taken steps to ensure that Sandusky was not allowed access to little boys in his capacity as a PSU employee and/or given said access at PSU facilities?" And THAT question is pretty much reaching "no-brainer" status as things like the 1998 report come out.
Again, having been involved in litigation of an abuse case, if the institution has a report that a man and his behavior fit the profile of a pedophile, and the institution just goes on with business as usual, and the man later diddles umpteen little boys . . . . well, the existence of that report is what we in the business call "a bad fact." Or, if you're sitting in the plaintiff's chair, "a smoking gun."
Well, I know which psychologist I will be going to for advice.
Well, I know which psychologist will be getting her house arsoned like a mofo/window brickified.
I bet Seasock's practice is going to take a real blow. Guy's a liar or sucks.
I checked online when a person can become a pedo and there is no answer. So the dude who said 52 is too old is full of $#@!. This guy has probably been doing this $#@! his entire life, which means there are probably lots of kids out in the world with spanked asses.
So CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd did a profile piece on Urban Meyer and one section of it is HILARIOUS:
Meyer did well to control his emotions when Ohio State was slapped with a one-year bowl ban on Dec. 20. It wasn't easy.
"I've had a couple [of issues] that I probably would have lost my friggin' mind over and went on a rampage," this Meyer says of the old Meyer. "I haven't done that. I've taken the Joe Paterno advice. Slow down, don't react. You hear something? Take your time, investigate it, research it."[
