Just woke up and they're gone. $#@! them. I'm not staying up until 6am to get tickets for a concert.

Friend was just able to get a solo ga for Dallas 5 mins ago. So just a heads up.
got 4 reserved for Houston. I have no idea where they are. I just clicked as fast as possible. Anyone know what sections?
Paging EddieMoney.
There will definitely be tickets in the on-sales on saturday, just don't throw seats back though. Your first pull may be your only pull. It will be a hot ticket on the secondary market, but will also be bought heavily so I imagine a week or so after the on-sale prices will come down a little, but I think the week of the show prices could get really hot again
I'm so confused. When the hell did these go on sale? I kept checking and never saw anything on that waste website.
So I see "Buy Tickets" for the Dallas show but when I click it, my basket is empty. WTF?
did they release some more tickets? I just clicked and got this message:
earlier it just said they had sold out.YOU HAVE NO ITEMS IN YOUR BASKET
This will be for one of the following reasons :
1. You have not yet chosen any items.
2. Your reserved items have been released because you took more than 5 minutes on a page.
Please click here to continue.
they definitely released more tickets. I could just never fill my basket. here's the new message:
PRE SALE TICKETS HAVE NOW SOLD OUT
Tickets will go on general sale on 12th Nov (with the exception of Tampa, which is the 19th Nov).
DENIED too...:( I thought I got up early enough...
Must have missed it, but what time do tickets go on sale Saturday? How much where the GA tickets going for in Austin?
$69 each for GA and Reserved
For 2 reserved I paid $151.80 total
Thanks Bottlecap. Thanks not too bad.
got 4 GA for both Austin and Houston. feel like hammered $#@!, staying up all night, so I guess I 'earned' them. given that it was less than 10% of the venue's tickets being made available... I'm glad they don't announce the time for the band's tickets going on sale. hope shaggy folks get what they need this weekend.
Just got my seating assignments in an email. VERY $#@!ing happy with it.
What's the deal with the seats bc? Better than ga? Dallas only had a ga option when I got in.
I got seats because seeing shows on the floor with my wife drives me crazy since I worry about her being able to see. It drives me $#@!ing nuts and I can't help it -- even though she says "she's fine". Therefore, reserved seating to ease my mind. Plus, Radiohead fanbois seem like they would be incorrigible at ground zero.
Eddie Money was exactly spot on when he said this:
I got waste pit tix in 2001 and 2008 for the shows at the Woodlands. It was actually not very cramped and there was quite a bit of space to hang in the back if you didn't want to be up with everyone. 2001 was $#@!ing great because folks didn't really hold up the phones like they did in 2008, but I have no issue telling someone to put their phone down that's in front of me.
Will the Erwin layout be like this?
and this is from austin360
There are some details you need to know, including that there’s a four-ticket limit and other things that seem to be an effort to curb scalping. From the Erwin Center:
— There will be a four ticket limit. Any tickets purchased by phone or Internet above the limit, based on mailing address, email address, phone number or credit card, will be canceled immediately.
— All floor and select arena sections closest to the stage will be restricted to night of show will call only.
— Ticket buyers will pick up their tickets with their entire group and be escorted directly into the building to have their tickets scanned and receive a wristband.
— Only those with the wristband and the proper ticket will be allowed access to the floor and two sections closest to the stage.
— All ticketholders restricted to night of show will call only will enter the building at approximately 6 p.m. Doors will open for all other ticketholders at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Got 4 seats for Houston and Austin.
Seriously considering a trip to Europe when they announce those shows. I'm guessing the venues will be much better.
No way they are going to escort every group of 4 ticket holders into the arena.
It's not 'escorting' depending on the technology of the venue... 90% of all venues have the capability to simply swipe the credit card used to purchase the tickets at the door and print out a little stub. Some venues will name match everything but in the absolute least the credit card used to buy the tickets has to be present at the door or else you aren't getting in.
This is an amazing pain in the ass for parents or when you lose your CC... many states are currently debating the legality of tickets not being 'transferrable,' and ultimately I think arenas that were built with public dollars will no longer handle tickets in this fashion... general attitude being that the tax payers built the stadium they can therefore do whatever the $#@! they want with the tickets, they belong to the purchaser not the artist
That's a pretty ignorant statement because our business is about 10% concert tickets, secondly we love this $#@!... its the amateurs that can't buy an extra two and flood stubhub, the lack of inventory on the market for the premium seats drives prices up and unlike the soccer mom or college kid trying to make a quick buck we aren't dependent on stubhub to sell our tickets.
soooo . . i'll be in the market for 2 good seats to this show depending how the sale on the 12th goes.
The fire relief concert was set up the same way as the diagram above. We were halfway back in section 5 & it felt like we were still insanely close. So for those of you wondering about your seats, if it's set up the same way, I think you're gonna be pleasantly surprised. You could probably toss a baseball from the stage & hit the front of section 44.
$#@! balls....we missed out too, hopefully sat is ok...so there will be a "floor"/GA at the erwin center, not "floor seating"? Bottlecap's seat diagram looks like floor "seats"....
I believe floor is all GA.
Just got the email...Section 107 row 2 for Houston. That's like the 50 yard line. Sweet.![]()
Interestingly, not really, at least not this show in particular... while we can get our hands on fewer tickets they are worth a lot more.
What DOES hurt the bottomline is Lady Gaga, Roger Waters, Jay-Z having their good seats face value at $175+... there is still money, just have to be careful.
All these artists do things to hurt the scalper but if you hurt the scalper you are really hurting the fans collectively more. All in all though its been good for us, lots of the old school guys don't treat the business like the stock market it has truly become and are becoming extinct, back in the day you could wake up at 10AM buy some concert tickets and list them on the intertron and double your money mindlessly, that's no longer the case....And most of the up and comers do it part time and don't have the time or capital to really treat it like a real business and end up going belly-up after one horrifically stupid purchase
So let me see if I understand this correctly...Floor/Club seats in Houston will be Flash Seats only and non-transferrable. The non-Floor/non-Club seats are regular tickets and will be transferrable? Is that right? So if I get floor/club seats tomorrow, I'll need to provide the names of everyone I'm getting tickets for and then there's no way to transfer those if someone can't make it? Is there a limit of 4 tickets for the Houston show as well?
This is how Ticketmaster is showing the set up for Radiohead at the AAC. This can't be right, can it? The entire floor is GA?

i think that is what they were saying. which means there still should be some floor available tomorrow for you.
Man I hope so. I'm going to have the iPad with the LiveNation app and the Mac going with the Ticketmaster website to see what I can pull. Then I have to complete that sale and move over to the Texas Box Office site to get my single ticket for the Austin show.
I've never had to provide the names of people I'm bringing in to the show. the cardholder goes in and they let three people in with them. now, if you're trying to "sell" a pair to somebody and have them come separately... I'm not sure if they have to go in at the same time with you, or they would just need your name. but still, I'd imagine the cardholder would have to have gone in first to validate the transaction.
