I hate basketball season because you flood the board with new topics.
I'll always be loyal to my Rockets, but I love this Thunder team. KD, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka...ridiculous young talent. I'll be following this team closely again.
what the $#@! is your deal today? You on your period or something? Thats the 2nd $#@! talking post youve made to me today out of the blue, and yet you contribute $#@!ing zero to any discussion thats ever been had anywhere on this site. Not a single poster on this forum could cite even one of your 4,000 worthless, trolling posts, because, as is evidenced, they mostly consist of out-of-left-field, inane $#@! talking, usually condensed to one single sentence. Besides that, who gives a goddamn flying $#@! about how many threads I start? There's like 6 people in this entire basketball forum who ever post anything of substance, myself being one of them, so why don't you disappear back to the darkness and shut the $#@! up about what I post here. I've taken $#@!s that knew more about basketball than you, and seeing as how you've never said anything of import EVER int this forum, you should probably go kill yourself because you are a $#@!et and your parents hate you.
But keep talking $#@! out of nowhere. I'll make sure the basketball board is reeeeaaalllll fun for everyone this year you $#@!ing $#@!.

Heard from a friend that Ibaka may not get back to the NBA in time for the start of the season due to his overseas contract. Any truth to this?
such a t shirt thunder derka.
In all seriousness, though, they have easily become my second favorite team, right behind the mavs. RW just needs to learn how to harness his badassness into something that doesn't turn him into a ball hog and remember that he's got KD35 on his team.
Durant till I die. In on one.
Edit: A gentle motion to change the thread title to "Official Oklahoma City Thunder 2011-2012 Season Thread"

It's gonna be interesting to see how Westbrook plays this season. Most fans/commentators still question him after last year's playoffs.
They have to give Harden 30+ minutes a game this year, right? He's about to be a big time player.
In the playoffs it would not have mattered if Chris Paul was playing in place of Russell, Kevin has got to get tougher and fight off the Allens, Battiers and Marions to get open. A lot of times when "Westbrook was being a ball hog and not passing to Kevin," KD had a dude draped all over him leaving Westbrook with no option but to shoot or drive.
i obviously love KD and he is the main reason i watch/support the thunder, but i am very much looking forward to watching james harden this year. think he is gonna blow up.
I thought it was an average pick on a jack-of-all-trades scorer (decent at many things, but excels at nothing) and that he'd be a career 7th or 8th man.
He fits the team, the system, and the culture. And he's proven he can take over a game in spurts, and be a reliable scorer against top competition.
To see his development, I will be excite.
Huge KD fan which makes me a huge Thunder Fan. I'm thinking we have a good chance of winning it all this year. I actually enjoy watching Westbrook play. Yeah i know he makes some stupid decisions sometimes but he's one of the best attacking point guards in the league and he's learning the position on the go. He'll only get better and KD has full trust in the kid. I'm hoping for a solid season this year.
KD and lebron are playing against each other right now in a flag football game right now. Craig winder is there as well

hahaha that big guy has some quick feet
OKC needs to sign someone big. Who else left is out there?
i definately meant someone big as in physically big..
I think OKC still needs a big man, but I need to see how they look after this long off-season
Predictions people?
OKC native here. Glad I left but I love me some Thunder.....
I'm sayin Finals loss to the Heat.....if that Paul to Lakers garbage goes through I reserve the right for a redo.....
From Loud City to Title Town
This is the second time I've been pumped about basketball season. Kind of wishing I would have stayed in college for an extra year so I could have gone to more Thunder games.
I don't have 5 handles, stop insinuating this. There's like 6 people in this entire basketball forum who ever post anything of substance, myself being one of them,
Went to the last preseason game tonight. Things I noticed:
1.Perk looks 10x better after losing the weight. Can make moves to the goal and finish, jump for rebounds. Picked up a tech in 1st though.
2. Westbrook didn't take time off to learn the PG position. Very out of control at points and questionable shot selection.
3.Harden could win 6th man of the year. Solid showing from the bearded one.
4.Collison and Aldrich will be rebounding machines. Saw a lot of them in at the same time tonight, good defenders (Aldrich on Odom, Collison on Dirk, Haywood). Aldrich will take Nazrs minutes from last years rotation.
5.New additions (Jackson,Reid,Hayward) won't see much time. Starting 5: Westbrook,Sefalosha,KD,Ibaka,Perkins -Subs:Maynor,Collison,Aldrich,Harden, Cook (ice cold tonight fwiw)
6. Dallas rook Randle is a baller, could take over for Kidd in the future
7. KD was KD. Nuff said
surprised I haven't seen anyone link to this awesome grantland piece on the Thunder
Exhibit #1483759 KD is awesome.
Durant has made a habit out of giving gifts away during the Christmas season. Last December, Durant surprised about 120 foster children at Oklahoma City-based Citizens Caring for Children with a visit and gifts, including an iPod shuffle, Thunder-themed Skullcandy headphones and Nike gear.
KD and the thunder are taking it this year. Book it.
Something to keep an eye on - Maynor's aggressiveness to create his own offense. He was a 20 PPG scorer on a VCU team that made the tourney, so he's naturally wired to score (not just shoot). I've notice his shot mechanic has changed slightly this preseason. It's smoother, he rises straighter, and he's gained more strength in his shoulders creating a much quicker release. Last season, his shot looked like he exhausted all of his strength into the release, he was leaning into the shot, and he wasn't getting much elevation.
The bench will be a smoother-looking offensive unit because there can be three good shooters on the floor who command attention. They're spotty defensively, but they're a good complement to the starters.
Lets do this $#@!! KD till I die!
I love the way this team is built. Ibaka and Perkins will give teams fits down low. Westbrook is still learning the position and the guy isn't even close to what he could be. They have their Bowen/Battier in Sefo.
Also, this team may have the best bench in the NBA. James Harden will be 6th man of the year and Maynor and Collison probably start for a handful of other teams. Is Nazr Muhammad still with them? Royal Ivey too.
Man I $#@!ing love this team!

Over/under on how many different black $#@!s this blond chick announcer with glasses has had in her mouth the last five years. I'm setting it at 15.
Need a GIF of that last play by the end of the game please anyone. Westbrook to kd, flush, high five
strange to see Perkins with OKC battling Big Baby with Orlando... wonder if KG is watching this
