Hey! Did you guys hear Derek Rose got hurt?
How did that happen? He never gets hurt
OKC has the talent to win the title, but they aren't winning $#@! with the one man train wreck that is Russell Westbrook.
Seventh seed on he road took a last second miracle to beat. Getting the win would make me feel fantastic about the series. But we proved we can beat em. Need to win the next one.
I'm bout to get hammered on Greenville. Miss these days. Gonna enjoy my Dallas time while I'm here.
To put it simply, the defense of our title now rests on Monday night.
Time to $#@!ing roll.
We seemed to run out of gas at the end. Not surprising this is an aging...$#@! that old team.
I love Durant could care less about the city of OKC winning anything but they still look a year away based on performance tonight. Frankly probably should have pounded the Mavs tonight but needed heroics to win.
Mavs need to dig deep for game 2. This game coming up is the one the wily veteran team figures out a way to win.....or is it the game OKC comes of age.
frustrating....hooked by Durant should be the way tomorrow headline reads.
Ps...they won it on Durants shot, but we lost it on turnovers down the stretch. We blinked and a 7-pt lead was gone. The sequence where Kidd missed and open 3 followed by the westbrook layup/alley oop turned the game back to them.
i don't see terry having a game like today again. our centers need to grow some balls and step up. ibaka bitched them all game.
I hate $#@!ing westbrook with the heat of a thousand suns, what an $#@!.
I hate to see him rubbing off on durant as they sit there In their gay $#@!ing fake glasses

LOL, $#@! all of these $#@!gots posting on our thread tonight and keep on letting the neg rep rain down $#@!ing spurs douches and playoff OKC fans (Like 3 people follow that team during regular season). You can all $#@!ing kill yourselves
Durant got a lucky roll. $#@! happens in the playoffs. This is going to be a long series.
Mad props to KD. Great game. Let's steal game 2.
Huh??? Dirk needs to learn from KD how to close playoff games?? GTFO.
OKC is going to be in big trouble if they get past Dallas when they have to play the Lakers and Spurs next. They still do not impress me at all. They needed a complete $#@!up down the stretch by us to win at home.
I'm a realist and did not expect us to win this series and still don't but I knew it'd be a hell of a series and fun to watch.
Can't wait for Game 2.
One could theoretically chalk up a Maverick loss to any number of factors (oddly fragile late-game performance, Dirk Nowitzki’s uncharacteristic turnovers, OKC’s fantastic denial of Jason Terry, a random Ibaka three-pointer, etc.), but I’m not sure I see the point in that kind of exercise. Rick Carlisle and his staff will look to make changes based on Dallas’ many distinct shortcomings, but none of those individual flaws provided a reason for loss so much as the slightest opportunity for one. The Mavs played well. They got real, consistent value from a wide net of contributors, largely forced the Thunder into difficult shots, and managed to negate some of their opponent’s greatest strengths. But someone had to lose this game, and the fact that it ended in a coin flip made the result no less cruel, and such assignments of blame no less arbitrary.

great game, playoffs are the best and are all about matchups, last year dallas had a tougher first round series than the next 2 series they played(LAL, OKC).. so if OKC wins the series then depending on who they play i'd say it could be easier.. they Don't matchup well with dallas at all..
But i will say if dallas is depending on Marion to drop 17 and Carter to put up double figures all series long to win then it won't be as close.. Dirk and Jet will get theirs.
gonna be a great playoffs in the west.. the east blows and is so zzzz to watch..
Look, as a Spurs fan I hate Dirk and the Mavs as much as the next guy, but I can't deny that Dirk can close out games. The problem with the Mavs, I've mentioned it before, no need to repeat here and nobody here gives a $#@! anyway, but it results in either Dirk being the hero in the last 3 minutes, or the goat in the last 3 minutes. But no question, he has been the hero many times before. You gotta be $#@!ing kidding me.

I turned it off as soon as the shot when in last night, just saw the replay and I can't believe that shot went in. $#@!ing thing clanked off the front of the rim. The spacing when they were throwing the ball into Dirk at the top of the key was all $#@!ed up the last 3 minutes. Guy throwing the ball into Dirk needs to be further away so his man can't swipe at the ball as soon as Dirk turns to dribble.
Feels like a must win on Monday.
$#@! guys, listened to the fourth quarter last night on the way home from the Rangers game. I don't think I've ever paid less attention to a road. Still think Dirk is the most complete and unstoppable player in the series, need to make Durant shot and can't let Ibaka score 20.
I was pleasantly surprised by Game 1. I thought we would get run out of the gym and we were an off balanced clutch shot from KD rimming out from stealing game 1. It's going to be tough but I'm a lot more optimistic about this series than I was leading up to Saturday.
Maybe this will help. Worked last year.
I thought we'd lose game 1 by 7-10 points and come back to win game 2 so I was pleasantly surprised with Saturday's performance. Gotta take this one tonight. Let's do this $#@!!
must bring the ass whipping
Gotta go for the jugular tonight and send it back to Dallas 1-1. This team isn't good enough to come back from down 0-2 without home court advantage.
Game 1 was a pleasant surprise despite the loss, we basically led the whole $#@!'n game. Going into the series all I wanted was a split and we can still accomplish that. Although, I'd rather be discussing a chance to be up 2-0 coming back home to Dallas. $#@! you KD and that bull$#@! shot you hoisted Saturday night!!!
The one thing I disagree with is being pleasantly surprised by how well they played. It don't mean $#@! unless we win.
Having said that, lets go do this.
Yeah, I'm not into moral victories either, but I thought if we were going to steal one our best chance would be tonight because of the rest that we had gotten over the last week or so. Now, let's go take this $#@!!!!
I was hoping the fans would be wearing blue to support the Mavs again.
