    I'm just going with one bet tonight - Hornets/Bulls under 180. It's not just because both teams played each other recently where the score was 90-67. I love Chicago's defense at home.

    But maybe I should just listen to H3's advice and stay the F away from NBA betting for a few weeks after the break...

    He was saying after trades and the trade deadline. I agree since you don't know exactly how new teammates will mesh but neither do the oddsmakers. But of course they get paid very well to make such decisions and I just lose a lot of money trying to make those decisions. But hell, it's fun and I'm addicted so what are you gonna do...

    dove into the NBA last week and had a weird night - lost the ML parly of 3 teams by 1 pt as Lebron choked but then hit the H2 over 97.5 on the laker game when someone on Sacto hit a meaningless 3 at the buzzer, with a combined 56 4th quarter points after a measly 43 combined in Q3. This was when they had a combined 123 in H1, so I thought a 97.5 over was a great pick during garbage time.

    I like the Pacers +7 at Chicago tonight. Pacers played twice last week - Tuesday and Saturday, so they should be rested. Bulls played 4 last week, including a grind-it-out one at Philly last night.

    Every quarter in the Pacers-Bulls game was close... except for the 3rd, which the Pacers lost $#@!ing 33-13. I give up on the NBA regular season. I'm too dumb to bet it.

    Edit: just read that CJ Watson and Hamilton both got injured. Unbelievable. Absolutely $#@!ing inexplicable. $#@! the worthless Pacers. $#@! Larry Bird. $#@! the entire $#@!ty state of Indiana.

    the O/U on the SA-NYK on Wed night is 200.5 . That's quite high for an SA home game where the 200 total points is rarely achieved . the Under looks really enticing.

    edit - going by the Odds on Yahoo-NBA and one book "BetOnline.com" and no other books reporting yet. Will look for this O/U tomorrow to see how much it's changed across all books.

    I've been riding Dallas as underdogs so far and they've paid out. Not sure if I like them as 3.5 pt. chalk though. I'm leaning OKC +3.5.

    I want to take the Heat -5 at NYK b/c they're missing Stoudemire and Shumpert. But the Knicks have a better record w/o Stoudemire and the Heat will likely be w/o Bosh b/c his wife had a baby. I'm leaning +5 NYK right now.

    I have a series bet of clippers +175 so I took memphis -2 yesterday as a hedge and of course that pushed.

    Today I really like the 76ers, I'm going to bet them heavy and if it doesn't work today than I'll keep rolling with them to cover until it does. They are scrappier than they are getting credit for
