First off, does anybody know when they are? I would assume 2nd saturday in February as it has been the last few years. Any prospects already say they are going to attend? The only one I've heard so far was Jake Raulerson, who I expect to be the first commit in the class

I hope we some of the big names like A'Shawn Robinson, Derrick Griffin, Darius James, Jake Oliver, JT Barrett, and Tyrone Swoopes show up as well. It's going to be a smaller , so we should really focus on bringing in the guys who need offered now and work on the rest in the Spring

If there's a DT willing and able we could move one of them over. Alternatively, we could try going 3-4 base and field 3 DTs and a bunch of LBs since it looks like we might be good there for a while.

I definately agree. I think the coaches like Swoopes more right now, but if Barrett were two inches taller at about 6'3, we wouldnt be having this conversation. It would be Barrett no doubt. Both are good players, but I like Swoopes

I still like Barrett more and it's not close. 6'1 is plenty for college. We don't need another athletic, raw thrower of the football ... we already have Overstreet occupying a QB scholarship. We need someone who can throw the ball well and accurately. That has to be the top priority after the last 2 seasons. Barrett is miles ahead in his throwing development and is still pretty damn athletic too.

Swoopes may look uber athletic in his highlight reel, but remember he plays 2A ball. Look at his size compared to the people he's playing against. Barrett is playing 4A ball.

Two of the insiders on OB said today that Raulerson, Seals-Jones, Oliver, and Manning will be in the first wave of commits. Also said that they are hearing good reports on Robinson, Dontre Wilson, Perkins, and Chevoski Collins. All those guys could be early commits this Spring. That would be a great start to the class.

Coming from the Sealy connections I have it is a Texas/LSU battle. We lead though about 60/40
