so basically what he's saying is that if kendall wright had fallen to us, and we had picked him, then we would've been better off signing vincent jackson or colston instead? can't you say that about a lot of picks where the alternative isn't making someone the highest paid whatever in nfl history? jesus.
jacoby jones cut today
four year contract worth 8mil or so, and you can hold him to a 5th year >>>>> mario's $100 mil contract
great news. i hope he goes to the cfl and $#@! himself or something.
The dude was a class act and I wish him luck wherever he ends up. The Ravens game sealed his fate though.

My friend Shelbie (the one on the right) just found out today she made the 2012 Texans Cheerleader Squad

im not going to bull$#@! here ichabod, i want to marry your friend and her friend
You know how most thought Brad Lidge just needed a fresh start after he screwed the pooch in a big game, and they were right. Jacoby Jones doesn't need a fresh start he needs lots of things. He's worthless.
The only people in Houston sad about this are the night club owners where he would pop bottles
Analysis: There's nothing wrong with the Mercilus pick, but I keep coming back to the idea that if the Texans needed a pass rusher, why didn't they just spend the money and keep Mario Williams? That would have freed the team to use its first-round pick on another need or do something more creative. Williams was expensive, but there are times in the building of a team that you spend big to get big results. The Texans are finally at the point of making a big run and they made a move that screamed of remaining middle of the pack.
Actually it's exactly the type of move a team like New England would make. You know the kind of team that makes a strong run nearly every year because they never kill themselves with the cap.
I'm convinced this writer is a complete idiot who has no idea how the salary cap game is played.......

Their both gorgeous but the one on the left is my wifey about 30 years and 40 pounds ago..........
Shelbie is hot and a very nice addition. The hotness factor of the Texans cheerleaders has definitely been amped up the past couple of years. Cowboys cheerleaders will always be number 1 but the Texans have got to be in the next rung down almond with the Raiders and Eagles
I see she is 41 and I typically like younger women, but I might give her a ride.

Cutting one knucklehead Jones only to bring another knucklehead Jones into camp.
The next Andre Johnson
one has to be drafted to be the steal of the draft
I like Jones (Dwight not Jacoby) he could very well be a player. He's got talent and seems excited to play with the best.
a lot of ppl don't like him because he's not "humbled" like foster or andre. i like the fact that he's confidence in himself, maybe even a bit too confidence, but those idiots thinks all good/greats players have to be quiet/humbled/etc like andre or foster.
There is substance to that train of thought when it comes to this guy.
"future top draft pick" ends up undrafted, then still refers to himself as "the steal of the draft" and "the next andre johnson" when he couldn't even get separation from average corners in the senior bowl.
I would be incredibly introspective at this point due to my career being on life support.
Nothing wrong with being confident as long as the actions back it up.

smith and kubiak getting extensions
rumor is they also want to lock down d brown and barwin before the season starts
I want to make sure they have a long contract by next year, but why are they worried about it now? It'd suck if either of them gets a bad injury like DeMeco and we're stuck with them with a big contract...
Texans just signed kicker shayne graham to compete with bullock. good pick up
im good with it
As long as Wade doesn't have to pay for anything when either one of them is within 10 miles of him, I guess i am okay.
I still would like Smith to explain the plan. Did he see the salary cap issues coming? If so, why not defer a little of the money given to Foster and keep Winston. Again, I assume they had/have a plan, but i just get the feeling he is playing checkers when others are playing chess. I just don't have confidence in him or Kubiak.
I would like to give McNair the benefit of the doubt and that he has asked these and other tough questions, AND gotten acceptable answers, but his football history shows he gives too long of a leash to mediocre personnel.
Jacoby Jones signed a 2yr $7mil contract with the Ravens
when you help a team win a playoff game, you get rewarded in the offseason.
Losing Suggs and signing Jacoby Jones - what a tragic blow to their talent level.
If we just wasted a 5th round pick on that fat $#@! aggy kicker....
It didn't take long to learn to deal with Ray Childress being aggy. If this guy makes his kicks, I don't give a $#@! where he went to school...
kicker would have been there in the 6th but it was a huge need
the idea of a good kicker under contract for the next 5 years is a nice thought. it'll be damn good competition for that spot.
Enough talk about kickers, here's another pic of Shelbie
.
I live in Nashville, but when I come home this summer I'll be sure to get Shelbie to attend a Shaggy HTown HH.
