Keep hoping that you found a bunch of under the radar stars. We'll see who was right in a few years.
i'd take him, but i'd take gustafson first as a tackle prospect. So you're saying if Raulerson would commit to A&M but would only commit if he could play tackle, you wouldn't take him? I doubt it.
is the nuance between: overall prospect: raulerson>>>gustafson and tackle prospect: gustafson>raulerson really that hard to understand?
Decommit #1: Christian Lacouture
His family moved to College Station, and they still can't keep him.
Non-committable offer, obviously...
Unless he re-commits.
Either the Aggy isn't aware or the texags gestapo is deleting threads left and right...
Can I have a $#@!ing meltdown or what?
I was thinking the same thing jester...I went over there to see the meltdown, and I guess they haven't noticed.
I don't want to believe threads are already getting deleted...I mean it's not like it's not a fact that he DID decommit. I thought they only deleted threads when people bad mouthed the program, ha.
First decommit came after February. Advantage A&M.
Decommitments are so common now that aggy doesn't even pay attention.
No denial as it sounds like it's legit, it just isn't really surprising if you've been paying attention. He's been committed for a long time, over a year, and had gotten close to Terrell Williams who then went to the Raiders.
I think there's still a chance he's an Aggie but I can understand him wanting to look around.
how often does a kid commit for a year, then de-commit then re-commit again at some point? kid obviously can't decide if he is SEC good enough or not...
almost had to go 4 pages for the first decommit. hell yes - making progress.
Well in all fairness, the quality of their 2013 decommits has already gone up. That's gotta be a moral victory right there.
And in the SECSEC they should be able to use a variation of one of their classic aggy newspeak phrases:
We didn't lose the recruiting war. We just ran out of slime.
Kohl Stewart got offered by Florida and called it "huge"

http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.a...471&forum_id=9The move to the SEC has brought about a change in the needs/desires for d-lineman. Speed was at a premium in the Big 12 due to the spread offenses and the generally faster movement at the line. The SEC is much more slow and plodding, so size is a priority for SEC d-lineman. The bigger, the better. Lacouture's speed is a wasted asset for us on the d-line, in my opinion. Let him go somewhere where his talents can be better put to use.
^ That has to be the worst quote I have ever seen. The difference between he SEC and every other conference is how big and fast the D linemen are. Plus that Kid is already 255 (haven't watched his tape) . Did they watch the LSU vs Oregon game?
$#@!ing aggy is too stupid to realize they were used as pawns by the sec-sec-sec. they gave the sec-sec-sec a bigger presence in texas, which will hurt their recruiting efforts. it will probably be a decade or so before they realize what really happened.

So, what does committed actually mean?

a Kohl Stewart decommit would be a tasty nugget of nuclear meltdowns on texaggy
By Damon Sayles
ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback Kohl Stewart (Houston, Texas/St. Pius X) verbally committed to Texas A&M in July 2011, and his commitment is still firm. However, it doesn’t hurt to look at other options.
Florida is the latest to entertain Stewart, and the 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback described his new offer with one word in particular.
“Huge,” Stewart said Tuesday.
An offer from one of the SEC’s elite programs would put excitement in any big-time recruit, and it’s one that Stewart said he will look into. While he is still sold on A&M, he said he is listening to what Florida offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Brent Pease, his primary recruiting contact, has to say.
Stewart said he has built a budding relationship with both Pease and head coach Will Muschamp. He said he hopes to take a visit to Gainesville, Fla., during the spring or summer.
“We’ve gotten a lot closer over the last few weeks,” Stewart said of Pease. “He’s been straightforward about everything, so it’s easy to see where he comes from. We talk on a weekly basis.
“It [Florida] is just such a nationally recognized program in a college town. It’d be a fun place to play.”
Stewart has offers from Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss, Notre Dame and SMU. While many are asking if he’s going to stick with his commitment, he said everything will depend on how relationships with new Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin and his staff continue to improve. He committed to the Aggies when Mike Sherman was head coach.
“I just have to get to know the guys,” he said of the Aggies. “I’m trying to take everything as slowly as possible and really make the best decision.”
Now it is being reporter by posters that golden got into a right with his coach and ay transfer to Carthage. No confirmed links, but the rumor is out there
Let me get this straight. A&M's 5 biggest stud recruits
Derrick Griffin - grade risk
Ishmael Wilson - LSU risk
Isaiah Golden - jail risk
Jamar Gibson - grade risk
Kohl Stewart - Florida risk
Griffin- grade risk/dumbass
edit: damn neon. we were thinking the same thing but you included the future decommitments too.
1234Seriously, none of them will be huge losses. there is a reason sumlin isn't working that hard on these guys. I am 100% certain that after further evaluation the staff has decided that we really need to go another direction, these kids are mac12-2-2+1+1+1+1+1-whatever conference style of players. Sumlin is busy working the back channels bringing in SEC SEC SEC speed and size WHOOOOOOP
COACH SUMS DRIVING US TO THE PROMISED LAND
I feel like I like Kohl Stewart more than most people. What is the issue with him?
Isn't Kohl Stewart also a serious MLB prospect?
Added: Didn't see Chuckie's comment below the picture when I posted this.
