    ctj is correct on this. right now i'd say this year's class will finish at 4.0 per player star rating on rivals, and only usc has accomplished that in recent years. a class of say 3 five-stars, 13 four-stars, and 3 three-stars is taking form. it will become clearer if and when kent perkins commits. this is the type of class i felt we should have landed post 2006, but we're putting together good classes the last few years. our opponents will learn to respect us.

    Honestly, as a runner he reminds me more of VY than Swoopes does. His arm also looks plenty strong in that video. But logic would suggest he can't be a very good passer if everyone (including him) is talking about WR at the next level.

    Regardless of where he plays, this guy is a beast. Best recruit in the class, IMO, and we have some great ones.

    I see on his offer list, UT-Arlington offered. They don't have a football program so I assume it was for basketball. If he wants to stay for at UT for as long as possible, Rick Barnes could use him on his 5th year of eligibility! ( Assuming Rick hasn't been fired by 2017 )

    Championship Sunday came to a close at the Pearland TX Classic Tournament. This event was filled with some of the best prospects in the 17U and 16U divisions… Before we give you results on which team took home the Gold, Bronze, and Silver championship titles less take a look at several prospects that played well on championship Sunday.
    Cream of the Crop
    The best prospect at this event was 6’3 2G/F 2013 Ricky Seals-Jones (pictured above) of the Rytes Warriors 2013 team… Ricky was the best player I saw Friday and he was the best player I saw Sunday. Seals-Jones dominated at both ends of the court as he’d helped the Warriors win the North Gold Championship title.
    Seals-Jones recorded his fifth double-double of the tournament as he finished the title game scoring 30 hard earn points and competed for 20 rebounds… Ricky plays with energy and hustle when he steps between the lines. This Texas Longhorn football commitment is a scrappy rebounder and defender. He’s a smart player with a high major talent level.
