Yeah, i think its a done deal that Brans story ends with his escape, but before Ramsey burns Winterfell and takes Theon (theon has to be in early season 3 or he'd miss 2 full seasons). so i have no clue how the Reeds will figure into the story
The 5 kings get whittled down to 3 in CoK (Balon and Renly getting done in during CoK) and then whittled down to 2 in SoS after the Red wedding, IIRC
And didn't they already say that SoS was going to be two seasons? If that's the case, I bet Red Wedding is episode 9 of Season 3.
One thing I'm not sure how I feel about right now is Joffrey being the one who gave the order to kill the bastards. They really rob Cersei of more of her $#@!ness when they take decision away from her. It shows her sociopathy and fits of rage. It also helps the viewer understand why Tyrion starts kicking ass and taking names. Joffrey is already the most hated person on this show. You don't need to throw killing bastards on him to take his $#@! level up a notch. He's already at 11.

Bronn being the Captain of the City Watch instead of Tyrions guards is OK, don't need to start introducing random ser's that the audience has to keep track of and he can do all the same $#@! he did in the book anyways. Although I didn't like that they omitted the part where Tyrion asks Janos for recommendations for his replacement and sends all of them to the Wall.
Just looking at the episode list Renly and Brienne show up next episode, the shadow the episode after and Theon is going to attack Winterfell probably episode 7 or 6. Episode 5 is probably Arya-centric and episode 7 we might get some glimpses at Jaime's past
they could blow up all of dorn and i wouldn't care. the only interesting thing in the least out of that whole story line is when the prince of dorn fights the mountain...
Also, the other thread was discussing Gendry's and someone mentioned Ned "fathering" Jon Snow. they're really going to lose their $#@! when it turns out he did not.
the greyjoy fireplace is pretty badass looking
Dolorous Edd on Craster's Keep: "I was born in a place like this. Later, I fell on hard times..."
yeah they're really patting themselves on the back for that dragons/human flesh thing
They know nothing, and worse they think they do
I like contributing to that thread, but damn they need a jump to conclusions mat. It's cute.
yeah Ian you're doing a pretty good job of helping them along without putting too much out there... gotta be careful with that bunch though
There are so many things that will blow their mind as the series unfolds. Beric, Jon Snow, Red Wedding, etc. It's fun to read.
They'll really be mad when Gendry and Arya split up and she never sees him again...maybe.
Ruff getting a little pedo for Arya
Can't wait to see them cry when Ygritte makes it to Castle Black.
A guy in the office told me today that he was almost certain that Gendry was going to be a mentor to Arya and protect her. It is really hard to talk to people and not say anything about the future stuff. I did help clear some stuff up today with Davos, I explained the table being badass as well.
Some new footage here.
The Dornish are very important, not just because of Ned's Sister, but also because they have one of the most powerful armies next to the Tyrells who are going to get worked soon. The Dornish will be a key ally in Westeros for the Targaryans.
The Dornish have good wine and they like $#@! crazy spicy.
This feels like as good a time as any to say again that I have never been as angry while reading a book as when I read the Red Wedding.
her they will get piece of her honesty and chivalry every time.
I don't think the writers have shown how badass Jamie is supposed to be, it should be easier for the audience to buy that he is changing while he is around Brienne. There is no reason to spend whole episodes, when they can just peek in for the action and a little dialogue.
I understand the Red Wedding was in the 3rd book, but unless they plan to have this series go for 8 seasons they are going to have to compress things a bit. It all depends on how many POV characters they eliminate from the show. There are many that could be eliminated or minimized, since their archs seemingly go nowhere except death.
This is a massively expensive show, there is going to be some pressure to compress things a bit.
It's a ratings and critical success. I don't think HBO would have a problem with it lasting 7 or 8 seasons(depending on how they handle AFOC and ADWD).
Yeah, if they want to combine two books in to a season, that would be the place. There's a already lot of overlap with parts of both books happening at the same time. They both need to be condensed anyway. A 13 or 14 episode season could probably cover both of them. 10 might be pushing it a little though.
if they were to that, definitely will need to be 13-14 episode season

Greyjoy analysis is awesome lulz
I like the Dornish because they're sort of Southron Italian-ish. I really wish Oberyn would not have dallied with the spear.
