2013 5-star DE Robert Nkemdiche just told me that #LSU is now his leader. #ThePlotThickens

This tweet would be a cruel hoax on the LSU faithful if more of them could read.
Since 1981-1982 season, The University of Texas has 38 National Championships: http://www.texassports.com/trads/nat...pionships.html
Since 1981-1982 season, Louisiana State University has 38 National Championships: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSU_Tig..._championships
30 of your 38 are in Mens/Womens track and field, whereas 17 of ours are Mens/Womens Swimming
Also, LSU did it in a combined 4 sports, whereas Texas did it with 10 different sports.

Come on now, you've been around plenty long enough to know this is never going to stop. The "Why did we stop recruiting ..." will go forever, as Longhorn fans clearly know more than our staff about the kids they spend years recruiting, talking to and getting to know.
Texas fans can't appreciate until years later why our staff stops recruiting the likes of say a Fred Rouse. (One of MANY examples) And even then, sometime they struggle.
I for one simply refuse to get into the tweets or follow of an 18 yo high school kid. I'll let others on the shag ferret through those for me.
So, we are even. During the time I said, we have 2 national titles in football, 7 in baseball, and we are even overall. You can add 3 Final fours for men, and 5 Final fours(in a row) for women. We have a few Women's CWS in there as well. Plus the man/woman individual Golf National Championships from last year.
How is "Texas >>>>>>> LSU"???
I'm sorry, all I read was you saying you had a better athletic department based on national championships. As you can clearly see, it's even in the past 30 years, the time frame you established. Not only that, but we were able to do it in 10 sports compared to your 4, which would imply a better overall product.
So please, don't let the door hit you on the way out
i remember sean phillips to ucla and kevin emmanuel to fsu; David Warren to fsu as well. still can't believe Earl's relative did not choose TEXAS
From Kipp Adams ESPN Dawgnation
I met him as a freshman working out at a local gym, and I immediately did the first recruiting story on him without having seen him play. He is physically as close to a no-brainer as you can get. I have covered recruiting in Georgia since Eric Berry and Cam Newton were at Creekside and Westlake, and I can safely say Nkemdiche is on par with both, and honestly he is the most physically talented prospect I have ever seen, and really that includes Jadeveon Clowney believe it or not because of his ability to hold up versus the run.
At the Nike Camp last year Nkemdiche blew past Under Armour All-American Vadal Alexander twice without Vadal so much as getting a finger on him. Vadal would later say that Nkemdiche was just in a different class than everyone else, and that is saying something coming from the No. 75 prospect in the country.
I have seen him play 3 times in person, and he is almost impossible to block without triple teaming, and that includes in the season opener last fall when he was in a cast. He played RB at 6-4 265 with a cast on, and was barreling over linebackers.

Just now got to this gem... wait there's moar!!!
I sure am. What are we discussing here? LSU's athletic program in the last 30 years is FAR superior to Texas. That is a fact based upon numbers.National championships in athletics. What numbers are you talking about?Ooops!!!30 of your 38 are in Mens/Womens track and field, whereas 17 of ours are Mens/Womens Swimming
Also, LSU did it in a combined 4 sports, whereas Texas did it with 10 different sports.
The Dirty South 38 somehow doesn't equal The Educated South 38. Weird. Ignorance is bliss and throwing $#@! on the wall to see if it sticks is as stupid as the dumb bitch texting me earlier telling me an F5 tornado destroyed Dallas earlier today... or possibly aggy. Maybe I missed it but who said Texas >>>>>>>> LSU? You fabricated that because you are $#@!ing stupid.
From my experience, when a top national recruit does a "call out" in the national media about Texas, it's usually because their street agent or family member intermediary isn't getting their calls returned, and they don't know that Texas doesn't play that game.
He apparently wants to visit Texas now, along with Oregon and some Cali schools. No longer plans on announcing on May 18th.
Agreed. At best this turns into a DGB type situation (i.e. Wyatt) where we get a little extra look because of Searles connections, but in reality, have no real shot at landing him. Any press is good press though, especially when it's other BC kids hearing that the number 1 kid in the country is interested.
I bet you said the same thing about Shiro Davis. Prevot's recruitment isn't looking promising and his decision isn't for awhile. It doesn't hurt to have the #1 recruit in the country on campus when the alternative isn't guaranteed.
Uh this kid yesterday was calling out almost every schools fans. I take absolutely nothing from this. He is trolling hard and I don't give a $#@! anymore. All he wants is followers. That's it. Don't think more of this unless he actually makes it to campus for a visit.
In regards to connections with Searels, I don't think there is a connection between the two besides being from Georgia. Searels is from northwest Georgia (I know his niece and her family lives up there. I assume that's where he is from too) and Grayson is in eastern Georgia. I could totally be wrong about this FWIW

Don't call us, we'll call you.
Ok cool. I had no idea. I havent read anything about this actually. I didnt know if people were just making a link to him mentioning Texas and Searels being from Georgia. I stand corrected. Regardless, this kid wants more attention than most women. Like I said before, I will believe he is truly interested when he sets foot on our campus for a visit. I think it does help us with recruiting though. When the last two number one guys in the nation have interest in us, it speaks well for the program
I thinks its fine for UT\Searls to reciprocate the interest if for no other reason to make us look good to others but as ctj has cautioned in no uncertain terms, don't get your hopes up. This guy is obviously playing the game and will wind up at Auburn\Oregon\Bama\LSU when all is said and done.
It'll only really be AS-J if we totally pin all our hopes on him.
I'm quite confident that our coaching staff knows that we have absolutely nothing to lose by talking to any recruit and getting him on campus.
And I'm damned certain we'll recruit for DL just fine with or without Nkemdiche.
Let Searels and whomever else is involved in Nkemdiche's recruitment handle it - they've got the situation under control.
