The problem with trading Tebow, aside from the fact that some 6 yo girls have a better throwing motion, is that he has a huge following and one that will demand he be the starter. Anywhere in Florida is a bad spot, needs to be a backup somewhere with an established qb.

I don't understand what the risk is in keeping Tebow in at backup/certain packages role. I think everyone can agree that he needs to work on his quarterbacking skills, so why not sit back and learn from watching Peyton? He had success in Denver, but is not quite a starter, so why not try to develop him into one? Tebow is a cheap project -- 5 years less than $10mil?? What's the harm in keeping him? It can't be "media attention", he only gets that because his team wins despite his unorthodox play.

Miami would be PERFECT for this chump. Tebow would sell a butt ton of tix for the fins, they $#@!ing stuffed joe robbie to the gills when denver played there last season, and they had a UF/Tebow appreciation day. Plus, Davie where the fins are located is the most hicktified city in sofla, theys a super wall mart right outside joe robbie, and calder racecourse and casino is right next door to joe robbie + Hard Rock Hollywood resort and casino is 5 min from Davie and the stadium so it will be easy for tebow to indulge his proclivities of hookers and blow and playing the ponies AND there are like kazillions of jews so tebow can indulge his other proclivity, that of fondling and whacking little boy's wangers.

It will be a difficult decision for ross and ireland though, sign tebow and waste millions of dollars and maybe sell a few more season tix or draft tannehill and waste duh fins first round draft pick AND millions of dollars and put NO butts in seats.

For the record, Tebow and other athletes who thank God, aren't thank Him for wins or touchdowns. They're thanking God for granting them the ability to do what they do and giving God praise. It's the same thign that Colt did after getting knocked out of the MNC game. If an athlete DOES ask God for touchdowns/wins, etc then he is asking for the wrong thing and I don't think that's what Tebow is doing.

I really don't understand all the hate that Tebow gets from so many people. Then again, I don't get all the love that he gets from so many people, either. He seems like a good guy who tried to do things the right way but he's a crappy quarterback who will never be able to lead a successful pro-style offense in the NFL.

With all the suffering in the world he says the power of prayer helped his professional football team beat another professional football team. Good to know he keeps things in perspective because he touched little kids $#@!s in the Phillippines once.

What's wrong with saying that the power of prayer helped his team win? I've never actually heard him say that but if I did I would assume that he meant his and his teammates' faith gave them the strength to fight/persevere and the conviction to win - not that God reached down from the heavens and altered the course of a football team. Now, if you could find me an instance where Tebow or anyone else said that, I'd understand your apparent outrage.

I think most people understand this. However the heavenward glance and double-index fingers up typically occurs after a good play, not for throwing a pick or whiffing on a tackle. It's as irritating as any "look at me" celebration after a player has done what he's paid to do. Give the praise in private.

Remember the Simms/Applewhite days at Texas? Both of those QBs were good and everyone picked sides. This is a little different because one qb is really good, the other is mediocre but has "heart". Good way to turn things into a $#@!show pretty quick.
