    @Barton - Are you aware of any complaints from UTPD, maybe the LHN camerman, or anyone ? Maybe some people claiming the sidewalk was blocked ?

    As previously discussed, the sidewalk is never an issue. I can see someone perceiving it is an issue, but not in reality.

    Nope. And I'm confident nothing like this exists. It's all about $$$$$$$.

    I actually talked to some of the big-wigs last season in Omaha ... they wanted us to come up with some kind of plan to establish "licenses" of some sort where people could pay to sit out there.

    $#@!in gay ass bull$#@!. I remember as a kid we could pry the left field wall back in the corner, behind the wall that was the field wall. We'd watch the games there for a couple of years until UT figured they were missing out on the $20 in kids tickets they were losing and permanently fixed it, so this is not so surprising. What is, is they are raking in millions and they are worried about losing maybe $500 in game tickets? Money is money, but come on, throw something to a very tiny portion of the fanbase to show you have a heart.

    This type of $#@! has been going for a long time in all sports. This particular one just hits home with you guys. I quit going to fb, bb, and bb because of $#@! DD has pulled over the years! I'd want the old bastard out now, but "the bitch" stands in waiting. It's all $$$$$$$$$$$$$ folks. Now, thanks to LHN, we don't get to watch baseball, basketball, and two $#@!ing football games each year, unless your one of the few who can get LHN.

    I've been to a good number of Texas baseball games over the years, but I apologize in advance for my ignorance. Was it free to stand over there? Ole Miss games were free for students for years, until last year they made kids either buy season tickets or pay $3 a game. Enough people bitched that they're free again. Maybe that'll work for you guys. The UT athletic department already has "$#@! you" money anyways.

    It's outside the gates, so it's free. (Were the Ole Miss students standing outside the gates? How the $#@! can they charge you for standing outside the gates??) What they don't seem to realize is that many of the people that hang out in LF have season tickets. I've even heard of parents of players being out there. We've never hung out in LF, but I recognize the level of fandom that it takes to come out and support the team and those guys are always there. This really sucks.

    Mississippi State fans have a grand old time beyond their outfield fence and I think most (if not all) of them bought GA tickets just to go stand out there. I wish MSU_Dawg still posted here.
