I'd have to say the GTR's are my favorite car under 200k. (On this car) I like gloss black better than flat black, but hell, it still gave me a stiffy.
Also, the R34 in 2Fast2Furious is was what cultivated my love for the GTR's. $#@!ty movie, beautiful car.

Well. The 2013 GTR puts out 550 crank hp. That translates to roughly 480-490 hp at the wheels usually. Fast as $#@!. The AMS Alpha 9 (arguably their 3rd best package) puts 656 hp at the wheels with pump gas. You are easily at 10 seconds in the quarter mile and with a good tune, in the 9s. It costs roughly $8-15 grand depending on the exact equipment you get. The new AMS Alpha Omega set the world GTR speed records at 8.62 in the quarter a few weeks ago.
Bottom line is the stock GTR is basically the fastest car on the road with only a few competitors like the ZR1 and the $#@!ing Veyron (another class). Modding the GTR is like having a 10 inch $#@! and saying "I think I'll add another $#@!."

watching that first pass I said to my coworker there were a few dips that he hit that could be $#@!ing scary... that second run woulda had me $#@!ting myself, talk about dangerous perfect timing for the chute to deploy and hit the dip, he was 3 wheeling it for a moment during that heavy breaking...

The fast exotics dont really use 0-60 as a measuring stick they use 60-130
It is but the cost of maintaining them is outrageous 10k for an oil change, 40k for tire change (needed every 2,500 miles), annual service 20k
I toyed around with modding cars in my late teens early 20's mostly mustangs and I had a 300z TT, been feeling the bug these past few months and low and behold the wife drops the "I want to have another baby" during dinner the other night

What Nissan built and now the tuners are doing to the GTR is impressive but lets not forget the other big dog in this racing scene

Im just amazed at the street ability of these cars. 20 years ago I knew guys putting turbos on 5.0 mustangs that you could barely drive daily and they were only running low 9 sec 1/4 miles on slicks. from what I've read, these GTR's and Lambos drive almost like they are stock
The GTR does have launche control. Never used mine. Too scared.
