I had such high hopes for this show but it's been quite a letdown. Agree that most if not all the characters have zero redeeming qualities and I find myself feeling awkward most of the time instead of laughing. Very glad to have Veep to keep me cracking up on Sundays. Prob will stick with Girls for a short while longer since it's already set to record on my dvr and I'm super lazy.

I keep seeing this turd float to the top of the thread list like a, well, like a turd and I thought maybe I missed something and should give it another shot. I read the 15 most recent posts and all I'm thinking is "why are you guys still talking about this POS?". Really. Why are you guys still talking about it? Cancel the series recording off your DVR, never watch it again, never mention it again, and check Mr Skin once a month to see if either of the hot chicks ever bothers to take her bra off during sex.

Bored to Death I'll buy, but there was nothing funny nor interesting about How to Make it in America. Adam is such a $#@!ing goof. I still love the guy. It was also appropriate to see Marnie and Jessa bonding over how horrible they are. The guy they picked up in the bar was such a poor caricature of a human being that scene was horrible minus the chick kissing.

Personally, I'd take How to Make it In America over this show. It's..... confusing to OK, the credits of HTMIIA were better than this entire show. The show wasn't phenomenal, it was basically Entourage but with broke people, but at least the protagonists were somewhat likable and trying to do $#@!. I don't know wtf is the point of these character's lives.

I'll say it -- this show has grown on me.

I think I actually kind of like it now. I wouldn't want to hang out with just about any of the characters... maybe just Ray and Adam... but that doesn't really bother me. I wouldn't want to hang out with any characters on The Sopranos either... except Meadow.

Anyway... I think this last episode turned me. I think it's good now. No homo.

I thought the Brit marrying the threesome $#@! guy was some of the laziest writing I've seen on television in quite some time. I know that character is supposed to be the crazy, "free spirit" one, but it was just dumb & illogical. And Adam is annoying to me once he became the boyfriend.

I hate this show, yet I like it at times. I'd still rather be watching something else from HBO, but I will probably begrudgingly watch season 2 when it airs.
