i saw SOAD in the woodlands 6 or 7 years ago and it was $#@!ing awesome. i usually dont like bands that get real in your face with political messages in their songs, but system rocks so hard that i dont give a $#@!.

If we're talking pre-2000 Deftones then awesome. I'd still go because I've never seen SOAD.

Ah reminds me of my first year in college and first music festival - Ozzfest 99 :)

Deftones, SOAD, Fear Factory, Slayer, man I had a lot of angry energy and the crowds were crazy before cell phones. Hopefully they add some more dates.

i've seen both of those bands and that seems like a bad ass $#@!ing show with them together. saw deftones way back in ealry 2000's with godsmack and saw SOAD on one of the ozzfest tours. $#@!ing high energy $#@!.

Saw Serj doing his solo stuff at Ozzfest in 08 and even that was awesome. He's a great frontman

i'm always shocked at how quickly deftones shows sell out in SA/Austin. didn't know they had such a large fanbase. never seen so many fights at a concert before as the deftones show at sunken gardens in SA around 2001. patdown at the gate was intense too...they even had cops checking wallets.

bump. Some cities (in the NE) went on sale almost 40 mins ago and aren't selling as quickly as I thought (may be the price -- a bit high for my taste), so jump on it if you're in the area.

Don't blame me the band mailed it in. I'm a fan and have been since Adrenaline and Around the Fur, but their performance sucked balls. ... especially when compared to SOAD's set.
