Kitchen remodel- any AUS company recomendations?

Ive got an older house with a kitchen that needs to be nuked from orbit, and basically, completely remade.. Im looking at a $25-30k budget, so im not looking a cheap remodel.

are there any companies you all have worked with that you might consider giving a recomendation for?

Carl Gradek is undoubtedly the most laid back, honest contractor on the planet. He is meticulous and is very cost effective. He does much more than kitchens, so he's not a specialist, but I can't recommend him highly enough:

I just picked up a consulting client that got absolutely assraped by a "kitchen and bath" contractor out of Laguna. I'm trying to help her get the project finished...the chances of getting any money back are probably not good. I will, however, get the CSLB involved.

make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples.

Quality makes a huge difference. Get clear specs for everything going in so you can make a comparison from one bid to another.

Cabinets are tough to nail down. The quality of custom cabinetry varies greatly. If you're going with a factory cabinet, they vary too, but at least you can get an idea whether they're cheap $#@!, middle of the road, or good quality, based on the manufacturer and product line.
