and Williams should have been a Bear except for his HS coach shopping him to OU.

Green is a big fan of Jeebus, so Ron Brown was not the issue. That rumor is simply a piling on -- which is to be expected until Ron Brown learns to STFU.
The issue is that Pelini has pretty much mismanaged this kid IMO. It is pretty evident in limited sampling that the kid's got talent. However, he's been 3rd on the depth chart behind Burkhead and Abdullah -- both of who are also talented. Pelini should not have burned his shirt last year. Or, if he insisted on doing so, get the kid some touches. Might be able to find some for him if we did not insist on grinding Burkhead into the ground.
Another kid whose transfer would not shock me is Jamal Turner (another Texan). He came here as a QB, but it is pretty evident he will never play that position. If he stays at NU, he will be a WR. And, if the kid wants to play in the NFL, it is probably a smart move because he is not a great passer (and no one on NU's staff is interested in changing that). Turner has some OSF in his game. Every time he gets the ball, he makes moves.
So, why is Pelini not getting these guys the ball more? Its pretty well known that Pelini has a doghouse and that both Green and Turner were in it last year for various reasons.
Tell me about it. This is no BS. Jamal Turner, the aforementioned WR, is 2nd on the depth chart behind Bo Pelini's wife's cousin or some $#@!ing Gomer Pyle $#@!.
Jamal Turner: 6'1", 185 with 4.4 speed, decent hands, and some serious OSF
is benchwarming for:
Tim Marlowe: 5'10", 175, with 4.6 speed, meh hands, and absolutely no OSF
Why? Because it is pretty well known that he will speak his mind about our $#@!ty QB's $#@!ty throwing mechanics....and Mexican Jesus is Bo's boy.
Pelini just seems like a Jagoff.....like so many from Youngstown, Ohio...one of the more corrupt towns in that awful state.
According to a friend posting on his wall, Green was mad about not getting carries while Brown at Texas was starting and doing his thing.
Obviously thats not the best of sources but it's easy to imagine another freshman being jealous.
I attended spring practice and jamal turner was dropping everything thrown his way. Pretty sure that's why he's behind marlowe - not some italian pelini $#@!.
You can't just burn the redshirt of a hugely talented recruit, then only play him in basically 2 or 3 games, and expect him to be happy about it. Definitely was mismanaged.
We're fine though, Ameer looks to be a solid guy for the next few years. You just hate to see such a highly touted recruit leave though. It is what it is.
Zac Taylor was big12 offensive player of the year in 2006.
Must have been a $#@!ty year for big 12 offenses.
$#@!, ft worthians gonna be pissed.
SIAP: Will Green have to sit out a year? And if not, why not? The froggie fan sites talk like he'll be available this fall.
Damn TCU assembling some nice talent since moving to the Big XII.
Ganz is on the coaching staff now. I'd say the best passer was david humm.
