    McCarver: Global Warming Causes More Home Runs

    It's not steroids. It's not the stitching on the baseball. It's not better training regimens. It's not new bat technology. Nope, it's global warming causing all of those dingers to be hit:

    "It has not been proven, but I think ultimately it will be proven that the air is thinner now, there have been climactic changes over the last 50 years in the world, and I think that’s one of the reasons balls are carrying much better now than I remember," McCarver said during Saturday's game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

    It's probably true. McCarver is especially sensitive to feeling the effects of global warming personally. In fact, Deion Sanders knew this and helped him out by cooling him off a few years back. Nice of Deion. Remember this? Lulz!!
