    if you are the praying type...

    Please keep my daughter Peyton in them. she is gonna have surgery for hydrocephalus at 10:00 today. Im getting ready to come home on emergency leave as she was admitted to Cook's Children in Fort Worth last night. I will be home on friday, in the mean time I will be by a phone so I can get updates as they come in. Ill try and keep everyone informed. No promises but my wife and I are about as distraught as can be over this. She is at a good hospital and will get the treatment she needs, which involves a shunt to drain the fluid that is building in her head.

    Im absolutely terrified and barely holding my $#@! together. even typing this makes me get choked up.

    im trying to laugh about other stuff and think positive so i keep my mind off of bad things. im finding the best thing to keep my mind off of anything negative is to work. i was up all night trying to bargain with God so she will be ok. literally, everything i have is up for grabs if it means she is ok. even me.

    just spoke to my wife. the dr's have decided the best way to proceed forward is by inserting a camera to observe the brain and attempt to find a membrane if one is there, then pop it and let it drain. the dr says its supposed to be better in the long run however it is more invasive.
