If this does not work out, will it be the final blow for Jordan to take the crown from Elgin as "all time great player turned all time worst executive"?
SO they interviewed Patrick Ewing, Jerry Sloan, Brian Shaw.............and they hired this guy?????? Damn MJ
To be fair its not like it matters...they are gonna suck for years to come
and this is why franchises like charlotte continue to blow ass…
When they select #2 next week and it's some out of left field selection like Meyers Leonard don't be surprised...
which is why we need retraction. Get rid of 2-4 of these worthless NBA teams in $#@!ty markets that suck every year. And the season needs to be shorter too. Every February you an narrow down the teams with any realistic chance to win it all down to about 6. The NBA is a marathon that should be more of a sprint, and the bad teams are BAD. The NBA would actually benefit from having more balance, and you'd see more teams like the Thunder, building a team through the draft and smart trades, as opposed to a few big market teams just spending top dollar for whatever amalgamation of big name talent they can get.
In the NBA, I'd probably start with Charlotte, Toronto, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Atlanta.
Atlanta hasn't done well, but they've been improving the past few years Vic...
People did not know this but he was a horrible executive as a player as well.
He forced the draft of Stacy King at #6
Was very reluctant when Pippen was drafted
Was very militant against Kukoc and probably retired in 93 due to his strained relationship with Krause.
Please tell me how great of an executive Kobe has been between getting Shaq shipped to Miami and then later pouting to management and throwing a tantrum in a futile effort to get released from the Lakers.
Hell, he just threw Gasol under the bus during the playoffs. There is no one Kobe won't betray to make himself look better.

That only leaves wanting to be traded which is his own right as a player, and again not an executive decision.
Jordan forced some of the dumbest personel moves ever, people bitch about Iseah? not even close.
Greatest coaching search ever?A week ago, the Bobcats had narrowed their choices to Hall of Fame coach Jerry Sloan, Indiana assistant Brian Shaw and Lakers assistant Quin Snyder, sources said.
You can't have it both ways. Either they both are or neither are.
Didn't Kobe want to trade Bynum for Kidd? Also didn't he nix the trade to the Bulls because he wouldn't have the great Luol Deng?
You people really are silly.
NOW THIS children is what I am looking for:
In 2006 I guess his only moves were emotional due to the failure to win (this is the period he wanted to be traded), not a decade long war between Jordan and Krause.Didn't Kobe want to trade Bynum for Kidd?

Krause knew how to build teams (and then blow it the $#@! up in 98), but Jordan is just one failure after another GM wise.
