GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- They say they do things bigger in Texas.
The billboard message pictured here not only comes courtesy of Texas A&M, the newest member of the Southeastern Conference, but was planted this week at the intersection of 13th Street and 53rd Avenue in the northeast Gainesville.
Heck, as long as they're bringing it this strong out of the box, why not a maroon and white neon sign atop Century Tower?
The good folks from the Aggie Nation, who host UF this week in their SEC debut, basically are saying hello to the Gators -- or "Howdy Gainesville," as the billboard states -- but then take their greeting to the next level.
You've been annexed by Aggie Nation
The Best Academics & Cleanest Program in the SEC. WHOOP!
Oh, and then this spike of the ball.
Real Football. Real Tradition.
Take that any way you want to, Florida fans.
Let the retorts begin.
