Texas - not sure
Iowa State - not sure
It's a tarp....
Texas - not sure
Iowa State - not sure
It's a tarp....
Even when you guys are mediocre, and we beat teams that beat you, you still crush us. I have a hard time being all that optimistic about the end result, but I say we keep it close. 33-28, UT.
Texas - 45 and wins the Big XII that night.
Iowa State - Eustachy returns and feels up, oh, about 35 women.
Bro, do we even QB?
It'll be a close one...
But no idea who wins.
I was thinking 13 - 9.
i wonder how mack feels about thursday night games in ames.
33-30. We score 30 unanswered points in the second half and mack compares it to the 04 okie st game that leads to a rose bowl game.
31-17 us. "2-0 in Big 12 play" posters get plastered all over campus
35 - 10 Texas
Gray rushes for 250
I keep seeing Swoopes is starting? Daje should also be back. If so, Texas 24, ISU 17
I think our D is better than Tulsa soooo we win my 2 TDs
Some nifty predictions up in here...
Just a refresher,
Case has never won a game he started
Texas is 1-6 when Case is asked to throw more than 15 times
Texas has never scored more than 27 points when Case throws more than 15 times
Texas has never won a game when case throws more than 20 completions
Iowa St 20
- MVP is Fera
- 1st place in B12
Looking at some ISU box scores....
ISU'S RB had 137 yards on 19 carries (7.2 y/c) vs Tulsa. In the first two games he had only 8 and 2 carries... Seems like they 'found' their full time back. I'd expect to see a lot of him.
QB doesn't seem to run or pass very well...but then BYU's QB wasn't all-world before he played us either...
They are 94th in total D, we are an impressive 67th in total D.
Doesn't matter who our QB is...ISU is a bad team.
Iowa State 27
still unbeaten in the big 12, you bunch of not friends
Is this game on ESPN?
That's how much I care right now...
Ruh..roh. Wrong thread.

I wouldn't take much of anything away from that Tulsa game. Tulsa is $#@!ing terrible this year.
We should be able to run if we stay committed to it and if Case doesn't become a turnover factory. I expect ISU to come out sky high for the game and we'll have our hands full, but I've got us by 6. 30-24.
They're giving up 176 ypg on the ground and 265 through the air. However , they'll be amped up on Thursday night.
As much as I'd like to see Mack have to explain this loss, if Daje is back I think we run for 250+ as a team.
Texas 27, ISU 21.
It think it will be low scoring but eventually we break through. 27-17 Texas.
- Texas $#@!s itself like always 1st half of road game (< 60 degrees scares you to death)
- 2nd half Texas sorta blows out Iowa State... for Texas a "blowout" is like maybe 21 points scored
- Final Score: Texas 34 - Iowa State 17.
- The following week, Mack will say 157 times "we're tied for the lead in the Big XII." And how the team is "coming back."
- And then will come OU... (lol!)
Iowa State 17
Half - Texas 21-14.
Horns win 24-17 after trailing at halftime 14-10. Robinson keys second half comeback by locking Mack and Mad Dog out of the locker room at half, ensuring players are rescued from Mackspeak bull$#@! and players actually get to eat their orange slices. Co-op releases "Miracle in Ames, 2-0 Big 12!" t-shirts for sale Friday morning.
ISU - 28
Texas - 21
Mack is going to have the team so uptight because they are playing on a Thursday night and Ash is not going to play.
"Our perfect storm of injuries and playing a tough ISU team on the road on a Thursday night was just too much" says Mack Brown in the post game interview.
Also, there are so many threads on him, I'll just plant this here. It really irks me that we have so much down time before this game, then after the OU game. If he wins (chortle), a little momentum is lost in the down time. If we lose, and it almost seems like it was designed like this, he gets to hide from the press for a whole week.
Also, keep in mind that the forecast for Thurs is a strong cold front (the same one coming to Austin on Sat) is expected to move into Ames some time during the day. Depending on how fast it goes, weather is either going to be 70's and soupy/lots of rain or temps dropping to near 50 degrees by game time, lots of wind, and maybe hitting 40 (or lower!) by end of game.
Fall's coming on Thursday to Iowa, big time.
Oh god I hope we win this one. I'm expecting losses to OU, OSU, Baylor, Tech, WVU and probably TCU. They will be hard to watch but I'm braced for the impact. Watching a loss to ISU would hurt so bad.
But if it happens Mack Brown will have to go in to hiding so that's a silver lining at least.

24-20 Texas. Mack sells it as Texas showing a lot of grit and toughness against a really tough Big 12 opponent, and he's feeling really rejuvenated and reenergized and Texas looks to be getting it's swagger back.
Then OU buttfucks us so hard that our great grandkids are going to have trouble sitting down, and Mack tells us once the entitlement gets rooted out of the program, we're going to be really good again, around 2017 or so.
