No doubt it's a good painting. Looks like something you'd see in a gallery in Santa Fe.Originally Posted by Ramsalot

I really want to listen to the A.A. Bondy album now.
So happy to hear people are enjoying Phosphorescent. One of the best live shows I've ever seen was them doing an in-store at End of An Ear during SXSW 2006.
that A.A. Bondy is soooooooo damn good.
Agree. Didn't top Werewolves and Lollipops, but was hilarious. Eugene Mirman put out a great one too: "God is a 12 Year Old Boy with Aspergers." The bits about him visiting internet sites were awesome.Originally Posted by Ramsalot
Agree. Acoustic version of King's Highway worth the price of all 4 CDs. The live album that Tom Petty finally deserved.

A year that has me loving a Decemberists album and merely appreciating Doves for putting anything out, well, that's an odd year. Also, I'm not sure I still like Fanfarlo. I think this was a weak year for 'albums'. Lots of really strong tracks though.
Also, I just got Embryonic last week. Huge Flaming Lips fan but this one is taking some getting into.

Still need to listen to the AA Bondy album, though.
Really surprised with the lack of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.
JR...it just missed on my list and probably would have been higher except I picked up the Delta Spirit - Ode to Sunshine at the same time and that album kinda pushed this one into the background.
Yeah. I need to pick that up. Lots of praise here that I can trust.\
I saw them at ACl last year or so, and was not impressed. But that was just one live performance on a shitty stage.
