donations and custom titles

Since vbulletin handles donations and can add people into a group who make donations, and that group can be set to allow themselves to set custom titles we are going to use this functionality to take some stuff off my plate.

If you currently have a recurring donation set up through pay pal please cancel it.

Then click on settings on the top right.

Then in the bottom left click on Paid Subscriptions

You can donate $5, $10 or $15 a month, $25 every 6 months, or $45 a year to get special access. If you'd like to donate a different amount let me know and I'll add it to the system. Once the donation is set up your group will get updated and you will be able to set your title. This process takes a few hours. If you don't see the option for changing your title in a day or so let me know and I will add you manually.

To edit your title click on settings in the top right, then edit profile along the bottom left.

If you'd like to donate the old way without getting any benefits you still can on the front page of the site.

If you don't want to use paypal pm me and I'll give you my address to send/drop off stuff. I take cash, checks, beer, booze, and or cigars.

So, to clarify you have to choose the $45/year donation to get your title back (and super secret vip access)? $5/month nets shaggy more money, though.

any one of the choices will get you the custom title.

I had a setting messed up so I'm going to manually add anyone who already donated to the group

for those of you who donated you should be able to click on settings in the top right, then edit profile in the bottom left and update your title.

Now the business at hand is being unbanned from the subscriptions page on my profile so shaggy can get paid.

This is exactly what is happening to me, except for I did cancel my subscription from paypal.

najia, razor, after you went to paypal, did you come back to a shaggy page that verified your payment? or did you get thrown into the zencart?

Same thing for me. I did the $10/mo subscription through paypal. I submitted it, but then it just took me back to the Forums page, not a payment verification page. I did get confirmation from Paypal. I can't set a title, though, so I'm guessing that Shaggy didn't get the return confirmation from Paypal.
