green means someone with enough rep to matter gave you good rep. grey means that no matter how they repped you, they didn't have enough rep to change you. dunno what the threshold is, but i know that wehn i repped HN04, and i was at 4q1, he went from one green to 2. so i gues sthe more you have, the more you matter, in terms of rep, which, really doesnt matter.
