Hard to tell if the Sleigh Bells songs are super awesome or super annoying...
But you can't help from playing air drum machine while listening.

Love that. Thanks.
whole album is awesome.
Last few days it's been the whole Cold Roses album from bRyan Adams. Particularly Magnolia Mountain. Keep in mind that Id not heard this before last summer. No explanation.
"Suburbia" by Trombone Shorty, from his newest album. The brass are all awesome.
During that time period a couple of months ago, I made a bitter and heart wrenching mixtape for an Ex. I would always put a secret song at the end of her mixes.
On that last one, the Last One, the last song was Pavement's Summer Babe followed by hidden contiguous sequence of Trailer Trash --> Polar Opposites --> Bankrupt on Selling.
Thank you Modest Mouse.
Re: Delta Spirit.
Nice. Thanks.
John
probably illustrates why i've never gotten hip-hop.
i love melody.
the whole song's one note, but the vocal line is a barbed wire hook.
Thanks for all the suggestions, especially:
Jack Panante
The National (didn't know they were on 4AD, my go-to label)
Big Pink (also 4AD)
Frightened Rabbit
Scissor Sisters (pure 80's Pet Shop Boys tribute)
Miike Snow
French Kicks

My daughter is currently loving this one:
I'm still digging this:
I stumbled upon this band at SXSW this past year randomly. I think it was at Club Deville?

I'm gonna catch shit for this but I am really digging this song right now:
FWIW, Rome is the new singer for Sublime now called Sublime w/ Rome due to legalities.
I've been running Lissie into the ground,
this song
this song
and especially this cover.
This one, especially after 3:08. The whole album is fantastic.
That is almost a perfect LCD song. However they do get a little out there on the synthesizer solo a couple of times. I don't mind the length of the song, I don't mind the build up at the beginning.
But a couple of times with the synthesizer it makes you feel a little uncomfortable if other people are around. Or maybe I think too much.
been listening to this new Stars album a lot lately. especially this one....
fixed is an awesome song. been playing it on kxt quite a bit lately.
Ramsalot, based on what I've gathered from your posts, your choice of songs is surprising... but that is a good song. I just saw Stars in Brooklyn a coupla weeks ago and have been re-listening to them. Solid.
