RA RA RIOT and Mumford & Sons, can't get enough of it right now. Also playing a lot of Pantera right now for some reason.

I don't know if I like that one better, or the original New Edition.
Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks
I didn't like at first, but it got me. Interesting lyrics.
Everything that keeps me together is falling apart/i’ve got
This thing that I consider my only art of fucking people over.
My boss just quit the job says he’s goin out to find blind
Spots and he’ll do it.
The 3rd planet is sure that they’re being watched by an
Eye in the sky that can’t be stopped.
When you get to the promise land your gonna shake that
Eyes hand.
Your heart felt good it was drippin pitch and made of wood.
And your hands and knees felt cold and wet on the grass to me.
Outside naked, shiverin looking blue, from the cold
Sunlight that’s reflected off the moon.
Baby cum angels fly around you reminding you we used
To be three and not just two.
And that’s how the world began.
And that’s how the world will end.
A 3rd had just been made and we were swimming in the
Water, didn’t know then was it a son was it a daughter.
When it occurred to me that the animals are swimming
Around in the water in the oceans in our bodies and
Another had been found another ocean on the planet
Given that our blood is just like the atlantic.
And how.
The universe is shaped exactly like the earth if you go
Straight long enough you’ll end up where you were.
And that’s how the world will end.
listened to "turn to stone" by joe walsh about 5 times on the way to work this morning and thought of this thread.
the only other drummer that's reminded me of moon.
i'm honestly surprised you didnt post something like 311's Amber. Steve Miller is overwhelmingly less spectacular though. Fucking steve miller?
Usually not into remixes too much but heard this in San Fran and Holy SHeeeeeeeeeet... can't stop listening to it.
I think I like it more than the OG now and I really like the original.

LOL, couldn't resist, sorry
This song, for some reason i cannot explain.
This is my first attempt to listen to a bunch of Leonard Cohen at once, and figure the guy out. I still am viewing him as a huge gimmick, but about three or four of his slower songs are really giving me a big sense of deja vu.
Ever since Lonestarman PM'ed me this yesterday I've been playing it over and over. Good times:
for some reason, this reminds me of something that would pop up in a david lynch film.
^^^^^^^
wow. I came on here to post this...
29 plays on my iTunes/iPod since Sept. 13th. one of the best songs of the year.

If I am honest, however, this song is getting more play than anything else. Sigh.
MC Fresh Breath - the Max Romeo 'war ina babylon' album is the fucking bomb. good calll. my deepest reggae roots, right there. wow.
right now i'm stuck on this track
Lupe Fiasco >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

run that shit into the ground. because it fucking sucks.
Can't stop playing Flo Rida "Club can't handle me"
Shag never ceases to amaze me. Of course someone knew that track. I came to Max Romeo kind of backwards or sideways. Bought the Arkology box set, which is a bunch of Lee "Scratch" Perry's earlier work. I would imagine you have it, since you know who Max Romeo is. Anyway, there's quite a few Max Romeo tracks on there, including "War Ina Babylon," "Sufferers Time," and of "Chase The Devil."
Great box set, btw, worth having the physical set, like one reviewer says. And that led to me to the "War Ina Babylon" album.
</great story>
So, THAT is where the Boardwalk Empire theme song comes from ,eh? I've never listened to Brian Jonestown Massacre, but it sounds like maybe I should check some out.
Not a huge fan of the new waver shit but Twin Shadow slams hard to quite hard.
Speaking of Brian Jonestown Massacre, this song is never far from my fingertips or earholes.
Well, I'm on a St. Vincent kick again.
I've pimped Annie Clark on the Shag as much as possible. The woman is a true artist. The music is odd, haunting, and can be a total fucking jam. Exhibit A below. Give it a chance. If you're not music orgasming starting at the 1:02 mark, then you fail at life. Even Derka would have to acknowledge the badassery of this indie rock goddess.
Funky. I like.
OK, just got the urge to listen to this song again after not listening to the album for a while. I'm convinced this is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just perfect.
Also, just noticed they're releasing an extended edition of High Violet on 11/23
