So you say they need more seats. I see that and I get that. So build a stadium with less amenities, less bs. Why not start with a simpler model? First of all, I can tell you by those renderings that the angle of the seats is absolutely terrible for watching a game. Go look at a place like Ratliff Stadium (yes I know it's older) but it is a great example of a good, solid stadium with great sightlines and angles to watch the game. Allen's looks much too shallow IMO and the fans would be far from the action. Why not get the basics right if you're gonna spend 60 mill?
Too many stadiums these days are so busy worrying about how many concession stands, seat backs, water fountains, ad spaces to have that they lose their focus on important $#@! like sightlines, angles, concourses, even general architectural individuality (I think that Allen's stadium looks the same as every other new stadium honestly).
I guess what I'm saying is, if you're gonna spend 60 million, at least get it right or don't spend it at all. Either way, it's still an example of $#@!ed up priorities. You can't tell me that will benefit the majority of that town. No way in hell.
