    Overall, it was entertaining, but I didn't really like the last action scene. It seemed like they were building up for an epic fight scene between Machete and Steven Seagal, but I guess the budget ran out. I know it's just a grindhouse film, but I was hoping for something in line with the last scene in Commando where Arnold tells Bennett to let off some steam.

    The only other disappointment was that they used CGI for Jessica Alba's shower scene. Son of a bitch...

    BTW: When I saw it in theaters, a mom and dad brought their four little kids, including a baby. That's worse than when I saw a dad bring in his 3 year old daughter to The 40 Year Old Virgin.

    great movie, tries to make light of a very serious issue in this country but never takes it self too serious

    That was really the only disappointing element for me too as the film itself shined. Fucking hilarious and totally worth the price of admission.

    Also, LL still looks pretty good. Would smash, but after Alba and Rodriquez respectively with maybe a nurse or two thrown in for funsies.

    one of the best movies I've seen. This thread needs a bump as each of you should see it. I'm planning to get the BR disc asap.

    a little too pro-immigrant but understandable given the powers that made it. I also don't get the hatred directed at the Von group instead of the Torrez gang, out of balance IMO. Hot chics in strategic locations is always a big plus. An all-star cast, this has to be added to any collection.

    Yeah, that was crazy. Loved the part with the guy knocking on the door and the machete going through his skull, knew it was coming but still funny. Also loved the invasion at the end with the guy and his ice cream cart. Just an enjoyable movie all around.

    I was a bit disappointed until I saw Lindsey Lohan naked. I spent about half the movie trying to pinpoint exactly where in Austin they were. The march to battle scene with all the hot rods was great, as was the ice cream cart.

    I'm telling you for all those that loved how over the top Machete was with all the blood/guts/violence, you need to see Hobo with a Shotgun which just hit DVD/Blu Ray. It makes Machette look like a fucking Disney movie
