I dont even give a shit what anyone says, so ill reply sine this thread was bumped. I know that FTP is rigged, and that the continuous shuffle is bullshit. I would bet any amount of money that if someone wanted to do the research, and entered 10,000 SNGs, that 80% of the bad beats would result in the biug stack winning, and that just doesnt happen in real life. I believe in this so much that I started to play by it, and it paid off. I have actually taken FTP off my computer because of this, but I remember before doing that having J9 off, and having a guy in front of me shove in a 90 pl SNG. I called, simply die to my theory. he flopped his ace, and I rivered a Q for the straight, and knocked him out. Also, this was the last real hand I played before disconnecting the site:

After losing a race at the final table with AhKh vs 33, this is how I was KO'd:

here's how I was KO'd from the previous tourney. Guy shoved after the turn:

You know the site is rigged, you know how the site is rigged and how to benefit from it, yet you have uninstalled it? If the big stack hits an inordinate percentage of the time why wouldnt you play specifically to take advantage of that and profit? It would be trivially easy - just avoid big stacks at all cost and bait the small stacks into all in situations no matter what you are holding. Its an easy strategy if you know the manner in which the game is rigged. Uninstalling the software is like saying you refuse to flip a coin for money with someone because you KNOW that it turns up heads 60% of the time and that just isnt fair.

Do you find it strange that you are certain its rigged (based on potentially thousands of hands) and people that 10 table at 70 hands per hour all day for a living dont think its rigged? (there are many such people that post on twoplustwo if you would like to read their thoughts) How do you, in your own mind, align your certainty based on almost no information with the diametrically opposed opinion which is based on 100x the experience and expertise on the topic?

because Ive seen it enough to know. The last two bad beats I have shown are the norm on the tilt, so I said fuck it. No matter how far ahead you are, you are very likely to get KO'd by the big stack, regardless of hands and where in the hand you are at. I expect KK to hold up vs JQ in real life. I do not on the tilt. Most of these screen shots I have result in me being KO'd. Not a coincidence. I got tired of getting my money in with the best of it and losing due to stack size. That's why I uninstalled it.

I had about 850 chips in my stack, at the final table, with blinds at 1500 and 3000, and a 400 chip ante. Good call though.

yeah, thats exactly why. Tell me you aren't really this dumb? In case you are, it's because despite needing a 2 outer to win the pot, the big stack did in fact hit the 2 outer on the river, which I expected.

good grief, take it easy. why don't you think about it in terms of equity? if the money got in pre then you lose 85% (ish) of the time. It doesn't matter the order or the cards, J7o loses 85% of the time. If the majority of the money got in on the flop then you still lose about 10% of the time. It seems like you play a lot online, so 1 out of 10 is going to be coming a lot. If you're on the wrong end of variance (running bad), then its even more of course.

Some of those people post on here, too...What Derka refuses to acknowledge is that he's trying to play good poker in $3 tournaments (your J7o vs QQ hand). The lower the limit you play, the higher the volume of bad, uneducated players; the looser, more passive, more ignorantly stubborn the players are, and the higher frequency in seeing bad beats because the bad hands see a river. There's no arguing that it's not frustrating to lose, especially when you're riding the high of being behind and sucking out, only to feel the low of having them spike a river, but that's part of the game. There are only 52 cards in a deck and suckouts happen all the time. If they didn't, poker wouldn't be on ESPN.

Actually you can get your money in much better than this (think AdAc vs Ah7c or something-- ~94% favorite I think), and yet you still lose more than 1 out of 20 times. So, best case scenario, you still lose 1/20, but most people act like it's 1/million...
