    don't know if this is old news or if it's that earth shattering but i don't think i remember seeing one coach admit he was openly rooting against a fellow conference school in a big bowl game against a team from another conference...

    Even Stoops, between talking conference titles, admitted he hated to see Texas quarterback Colt McCoy suffer an injury early in the BCS title game.

    "But let me say this," Stoops added quickly. "I wasn't rooting for Texas to win."

    Agreed, but it just shows the different ways the Texas and OU programs are run, and really the way each coach goes about his business and looks at life in general. I think our guy is better in all of those regards. There's no way Mack would every root for OU to win an MNC, but he would never say so publicly.

    Yes. Mack probably smiled and thought to himself what a great win for the kids and the coaching staff at Boise, who he happens to be good friends with. It was a very exciting game for both teams, it is a shame that someone has to lose, but the fans of the game were treated to an excellent game. Adrian Peterson played his heart out, it was touching moment and really puts college football in perspective when the Boise RB proposed on TV to his girlfriend.....
