TV show threads - lets keep it to one a season

Lets keep tv show threads to one a season.

I'd like this for 2 reasons

1. keep the board cleaned up a little
2. makes it easier for those of us who watch a lot of series on netflix/other to follow along. It's a pain in the ass to find 20 "series x mm/dd" threads than one "series x season y" thread.

i dont like boards where its one thread for the whole lifetime of the series. but one per season works.

i think this is fine, but i don't really like it for the 30 for 30 series. there are a lot of those that i have not watched and do not care about and i am not really interested in sorting through a long ass thread when there is one that interests me.

yeah, the mad men thread is a little annoying, but whatever. if there is more than one page worth per episode, it probably is worth its own.

I agree with HG that the madmen thread is hard to follow. But, i like this idea for the majority of shows. MM just has so much to it.

If the Rangers 2010 season can be one thread, I think a season of a tv show can be as well.

i think this is fine, but for shows like LOST this would not work.

But the thing is, Lost was a one of a kind show and I dont think that any show had episodes more discussed than that show.

I'm just going to voice my opinion now that we've had a few months of this. I completely understand the reasoning behind this, but to me the reality of it sucks. I generally watch my TV shows during my commute. As such, I'm at best a day or so behind, and often a week or more. I liked before being able to find the thread on the episode I'd just watched and make some comments, whether that thread was a day old or a week old. Now, I'm basically avoiding them, because either it's a pain to find out where that episode occurs in the thread (and if you respond everyone else is already talking about something else) or I end up seeing spoilers.

Just my 2 cents.

I kinda agree with this... I'm always at work when most of these shows air, so I often have to catch up later
