aside from GG and perhaps Goodwin, who is a legit pro prospect on this offense? I don't know much about the true FR so I'm excluding them. I just don't see the usual incredible talent that has carried UT to wins, despite mundane coaching schemes.

Malcom Williams will get a shot if he can be consistent catching the ball
otherwise.....
Don't be silly. Several will be drafted. Gilbert, Hix, Tre, Malcolm (even with his inconsistent hands) will more than likely be drafted and guys like Huey, Snow and Fozzy could play their way into the draft.
Malcolm Williams I'm willing to bet will have a nice combine when he goes....just needs to not get a case of the drops.
gilbert
williams
walters
hix
williams doesn't have the speed or the quicks. It's brutal making WR in the NFL.
god you are a fucking retard.
Now maybe some of the 19 year olds that cannot throw a football 40 yards will start to understand.....the recruiting the last few years has focused on DEFENSE....and the O line.....a buncha underachievers....and Gilbert. It is OK to win games without scoring fiddy every time.

If the raiders have a pick, Williams is set to go.
Kid is the best athlete we have on the team - pound for pound.
So you think Goodwin is a legitimately pro prospect but not Williams? Have you ever seen the NFL draft?
some people think Fozzy or Tre are going to get drafted? no way. I hate to say it, but they aren't even good enough to win the starting job at Texas. I'm not even sure if Goodwin will get drafted. He has the speed and so far, he's been consistent catching.... he just doesn't have the height and needs more work on his game. His future is in track & field.
As far as our offense excluding freshman:
Gilbert
Williams
Walters
Huey
Allen (if he comes back healthy and plays well)
Guys that will get a chance as free agents:
Hix
Chiles
Snow
These are just the current starters I'm picking from.
I hope Marquise Goodwin goes pro in Track & Field. I'd love to see him competing for an Olympic or World title.
Williams doesn't have the game speed of Goodwin, nor the footwork in tight quarters. On the OL, as much as they are bashed as soft and "pussies", now most of them are NFL prospects?
Well let's see some of that shit this Saturday Malcolm....and on Oct 2nd.
when I was at UT, a reporter asked David McWilliams who he thought would have a good shot at the NFL. Mac1 promptly rattled off the name of every senior on the team.
It takes a special kind of stupid to question Malcolm Williams' speed. I really don't even know what more to say. The guy has crappy hands, but Jesus, the dude is one of the fastest guys on the team.
What Allen are we talking about? Trey Allen? The guy that has never started a game?

I see Hix as a 4th or 5th rounder based on his measurables. Other than that, possibly guys like Mike Davis and Darius White? Malcolm will have to produce this year and next if he wants to get noticed.
Malcolm is an NFL player. 0% doubt. Especially considering he has another year left.
Chiles will make a roster if he has a decent season and shows he is improved.
Huey will make a roster.
Hix will probably make a roster. Maybe, depending on his year.
Eddie Jones will be a 2nd-3rd pick, if he stays healthy.
Acho will be 2nd -3rd pick.
AW is 1st round
CB is borderline 1st-2nd round
Chykie will get drafted.
That is it out of JRs I think will declare (A. Will) , Srs. and Malcolm.
I think Snow has a good shot of being drafted in the later rounds. Goodwin needs to sell himself as a Reggie Bush, all purpose type player, if wants a shot in the NFL. If Walters doesn't get drafted on the first day then we have epic failed him, the kid is a freak. Hix and Huey will have shots. I honestly don't see any Chris Hall's this year that would be laughed at by NFL scouts, with the exception of Mitchell, who hopefully gets replaced sooner or later. The only people with absolutely no hope are Tre, Fozzy, and Kirkendoll.
This offense has some prospects, but no, it's not loaded like some past teams. The best prospect just started his first game, too. They should still be prolific since it looks like the defense and STs are going to consistently provide good field position. Nobody's going to turn this crew into the New Orleans Saints. Offensively, the goals should be 1)protect the ball, 2)execute in the red zone, and 3)hit a few big plays in the passing game. If they do that, we probably win and I'm happy.
Offense: Snow, Huey, Walters, Malcolm Williams, Garrett, Tre, and Marquise*, Barrett Matthews. IMO
Defense: Eddie Jones*, Sam Acho, Emmanuel Acho, Dravannti Johnson*, Keenan Robinson, A Will, Curtis Brown, Chykie Brown, Blake Gideon*, and Alex Okafor.
*Denotes borderline.

Eddie Jones will go much lower because of his injury history unfortunately but the void walker is a mean machine when he is healthy.
if eddie jones plays the entire year, he's not going to be borderline. he'll get picked in rounds 2-4.
The recognition of the fact we're less than completely loaded on offense would be an unpleasant countercurrent to obsessive Greg Davis bashing. Yet, we bash the O-line, too. If they really suck, our backs are average, and our QB is talented, but woefully inexperienced, why should the offense be expected to do anything?
Like I've said countless times on threads our interior offensive line is damn good. On our outside run plays they don't look very good because of our tackles.
