The SEC seems to indicate that these charges were not made in either report. Based on the rules, the most logical conclusion is that Schad's story is false, and this is not an allegation being investigated. IF MSU did report it to the NCAA after the January and July reports, they committed a violation. What's more, that means that they reported the Bond statement twice, which doesn't directly implicate Auburn, and waited until some much later time for members of their own staff to mention that Cam and Cecil asked for $$. That's ludicrous, especially since the earlier they got that out there, the better the chance they'd actually not have to play Cam.
The SEC's denial, combined with Kiffin's and Stoops', and MSU's statement yesterday, make this look like it is still an MSU only story.
