    Yeah, I was thinking that too (about the High ISO Noise - I was instructed to turn it off NR though, as it might remove some of the stars). I'm going to try and give it another shot this weekend.

    As far as the people go, yeah... I just set the WB to Sunny/Shade/whatever... I don't constantly adjust usually. I had just been shooting in JPG, but I recently switched to both. I've never messed much with Post-Processing, so it's another new thing for me. Will take some learning. My computer is currently setup running Ubuntu exclusively, so I'm stuck with GIMP (not bad, but not the greatest)... I need to set it up to dual boot with Windows as well, so that I can use the copy of CS4 that I have - although I've heard great things about Lightroom. Either way, need to get Windows back on here.

    Outstanding work here. Frankly, I'm a little intimidated and have been slow to contribute based on the quality in this thread. Still, I picked up an old DSLR recently and checked out the Chihuly installation at the Dallas Arboretum. I don't know the shaggy art snob opinion on Chihuly but I loved it and hope to return at night to see it all lit up.
