Really not that impressed. This game is a carbon copy of the previous ones with new maps and a few new features as far as guns/customization.

Connection was good once I got in games. Domination is extremely fast paced. I like to start in that mode because knowing where the flags are helps me learn maps faster.

Seems like with no stopping power it's taking forever to get kills. I'll be switching to HC once I get comfortable with all the new stuff. My knee jerk assessment is that it feels like they mixed the good elements of mw1 and mw2 together. Mw2 is my favorite game ever and nothing else is even close. Only time will tell if this one can compete.

Excellent strategy. I do the same...though when I play deathmatch I try to direct my teammates using flag locations but often they don't know what I'm talking about.

heh, I always have this problem. I tend to play HC Headquarters only and when I'm thinking of HQ spots my buddies tend to say he is at A... I'm saying is that West HQ or what is A?!? and the likes.

First off, Best Buy @ Brodie handled the pre-order situation perfectly. Doors open @ 11 and they start processing the line. Then you sit down and watch Cpt. America for 20 minutes until midnight and you "can leave". So much better than starting processing at midnight. Did any other stores do this?

Connection: I didn't have any issues whatsoever for the 2-3 hours I played last night but I think I had host for the majority of it.

Snipers: Holy $#@! the Barett is stupid good. I assume the other semi-auto 50 is the same but didn't have much time to try it out. Quick draw + ACOG makes them a little overpowered in my mind. Toning down QD for 30 lb rifles would help.
So far I'm rolling with a red dot/silenced SCAR and really liking it. Wanted more punch so I tried the CM901 but the fire rate is $#@!.

Really liking custom reticles compared to Black Ops. They aren't huge and opaque. Cool new camos too.

I absolutely hate the map Dome.

This. All the registers were open, the line moved smoothly, and I was out of there in 30 mins. They did a great job.

The only thing pissing me off right now is getting knifed right after I melee someone with my riot shield. Dude is stumbling backward and still able to knife me through my shield? OK... I think that's been around since MW2 though. Wish they would fix it.
