Just great results for us. Please don't $#@! this up.
I love texanbychoice, but is there any doubt that Spurs is the aggy of the EPL?
After watching the home kit "in action", its growing on me.
M'Vila is unquestionably and a boost to any team, though it does make you wonder, even more than before, about the future of Jack and, in general, how our midfield is going to look next year.
Great end to that video. Haha.

We are definitely going to be LOADED at mid:
Wilshere, Arteta, Ramsey, Diaby, Frimpong, Rosicky, Denilson, M'Vila, Song
But hopefully Denilson will actually get sold this year. Same with a bunch of other guys.
Song is definitely becoming more of a box to box midfielder rather than the DCM he was initially thought to be. Will be interesting to watch and see what happens.
To be fair, this may be a bit hasty with M'Vila. I tend to trust Arseblog as it isn't sensational or speculative, but reports are still varying on this transfer.
But yes, M'Vila could be a great addition. Adding a big, holding, defensive mid might not be the flashiest move, but would certainly ease some of the pressure on the back four while allowing other midfielders who could serve better in attack (Arteta, Song, Wilshere, Rosicky, even Frimpong) to move forward.
I still feel like another young, creative, "playmaking" type is needed (even if just to develop for a couple seasons). I'm not holding my breath for Hazard, but a man can dream.
Also... £17 million??? I know the guy is 21, but that seems a bit steep for any club, especially Arsenal. That'd be the club's all-time biggest transfer fee paid (£15m for Arshavin). I honestly wonder how this will financially impact signing someone like Dempsey or Vertonghen (who is now heavily linked to Sp*urs). They must be awful confident of clearing out Chamakh/Arshavin/Bendtner/Vela/Almunia/Denilson/Squillaci this summer. It's gonna be a busy offseason.
But yes, we are going to have way too many midfielders, many of whom (Arteta, Wilshere, Song, Diaby, Frimpong, Ramsey, even Coquelin, and now M'Vila) play similar positions on the pitch.
I know, I just wanted an excuse to post a Vieira video. This club hasn't been the same since he left.
For as good as Cesc, Gilberto, Song, Arteta, Diaby, and Wilshere have been/are, we need a bigger, stronger presence in the center of the pitch.
It's completely unverified hearsay internet rumor at this point, but it sounds like the M'Vila signing would mean a likely departure for one of the other central midfielders (besides Denilson), and it seems like Alex Song could be one of the candidates.
He apparently got a new agent recently, and there still hasn't been any progress on extending his long-term deal (which still has 2 years left on it). There was talk of an extension & pay raise in March, back when he (and the club) were flying sky-high, but nothing materialized.
Song is currently one of Arsenal's lower-middle earners, taking home a basic salary of £55,000-a-week, the same as fringe players Almunia, Bendtner and Denilson (source), so who knows if Arsenal secretly knows he (and his new agent) have their sights set on a big pay raise elsewhere. I know Mourinho said that Real Madrid have their eye on both him and Vermaelen (not a $#@!in' chance), so we'll see...
If Arsenal does not win on Sunday...It's pretty likely I'll break something.
Assistant Manager Pat Rice announced his retirement at the end of the season. He's been with Arsenal for a long time, dating back to his playing days.
4 league titles, 6 FA Cups, 3 double winning seasons & 44 years of excellent, loyal service. Legend.
Looks like he got a proper send off from the lads.
For the record, RvP's wife is the one on the right.
(Assuming the other gal is with Almunia, that seems pretty fair.)

Wenger cools M'Vila talk.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has cooled reports France midfielder Yann M'Vila is on the verge of a big-money move to the Emirates.
Wenger has already secured the £10million signing of Lukas Podolski from Cologne and speculation emerged earlier this week that he was on the brink of completing what would be a club-record £17.7million signing of Rennes star M'Vila, who has long-since been linked with a move to the Gunners.
But speaking in the lead-up to Sunday's showdown with West Brom, Wenger has denied making an offer for the France international.
"It is not true. There is not any interest at the moment," said Wenger.
"We have not been in touch with anybody, we have not made any offer to anybody and we are nowhere near to buying anybody at the moment.
"We are focused on our final game of the season."
I honestly think a bone will have to be sticking out somewhere for Chesney to miss the match on Sunday. He's been far too important this season to miss the most important match of the year.
Oh, and this is interesting... Theo?
Wenger still unsure over Walcott fitness
Arsene Wenger will leave it late before deciding whether Theo Walcott has recovered from a hamstring injury sufficiently to play a part in Arsenal's final game of the season.
Arsenal need to beat West Brom in their last Premier League encounter of the campaign to be assured of Champions League football next season, with Walcott - who was in form before suffering an injury against Chelsea last month - potentially able to help the side achieve that aim.
The winger has been in a race against time to return before the end of the season, but Wenger revealed it still remains doubtful whether he will play any part in the weekend's game.
England manager Roy Hodgson will likely be watching the match with interest, hoping for encouraging evidence of Walcott's fitness before he selects his 23-man squad for the European Championships on May 16.
"He will have a test [on his hamstring]," Wenger said. "I don't know yet if he will be included in the squad or not. It is possible."
Right-back Bacary Sagna is the club's major absentee, after he suffered a broken leg in the club's last game against Norwich. Wenger revealed the France international is set to have the injury operated on this week, and hopes he will recover in time to return shortly after the start of next season.
"He will have surgery [on Thursday]," he said. "It is a straight broken fibula. We expect him to be out for a few months but let's see how surgery goes tonight."
As for the West Brom game, he added: "We have little doubts about Park [Chu-Young], [Sebastien] Squillaci and [Andre] Santos but they should all be ready."
Literally every time this season that I have read Wenger proclaim someone "unlikely" to play, they have played. One game we had 3 guys "unlikely to play", and all 3 started. Wojo aint missing this $#@!. And, on the off chance he does, Fabz (lolz) is one if not THE best backup keepers in the EPL. This is such a crucial 3 points though, I agree with becks, there's no way Wojo is missing this. In my mind, here's what's potentially on the line:
Worst case scenario: We don't get 3 points, or even lose, and miss out on the CL. RvP leaves while M'Vila, Dempssey, Hazard, Neymar, Boateng, and others all go to other clubs who have qualified for the CL.
Best case scenario: We get the 3 points, RvP stays, we get another big signing or two to help RvP, and we go into next season with full reason to be optimistic, regardless of Wilshire and Frimpong's health issues, or Gervinho, Ramsey, and Arteta's question marks.
Why you gotta be like that, yo. We winnin' this $#@!.Worst case scenario: We don't get 3 points, or even lose, and miss out on the CL. RvP leaves while M'Vila, Dempssey, Hazard, Neymar, Boateng, and others all go to other clubs who have qualified for the CL.
I threw up in my morhb reading the wordt casr.
Good point. I'm solid thought. Tapatalking is hard in the passenger seat while holding a taquito. And my $#@!. Wait wat.
Both Walcott & Szczesny trained this morning.
That is a good sign.
