I just recently started frequenting shaggy, but have been a HF poster since 2001. I had a couple names early on but didn't post much. then I got to college and became Derka Derka. I had like 2500 posts in the first 2 months. Yeah, I had no life. Then i got banned from that site years ago. Campus loopy seemed to hate the shit out of me for some reason. The reason i got banned was this comment on a thread about wether you'd choose music or movies if you could only have one the rst of your life: "If you choose movies you're probably not a very interesting person." That was my exact post that warranted banishment. Can you say "Nazis"? I've just now read the first 2 pages of this thread and it's 6:18 a.m. (and OU still sucks) so I'd better get to bed. I gotta wake up in a couple hours to watch Gameday/college football. Anyways, i'm glad to see that many of you posters who i recognize got tired of the HF BS as well. Can that POS site fix it so that if you type in http://hornfans.com, it will actually take you the home page at http://www.hornfans.com, instead of same pseudo home page that doesn't have all the links to the forums?
I'm a little confused as to what happened over there. I see Beau Vine's post on the Football board. And, they've left that link on the first post (hidden in a snurl). But I guess Mac posted on Quack's, and it was awaiting moderation? And BV's post shows a date of today (as well as Mac's?), but there are people posting on it yesterday. I'm confused by the whole timeline.
Maybe when the post got "pinned", the dates updated to today?
1) I am sure I am not one of those that still has full access. Or maybe I am. Who fucking cares? People don't search the web using Lycos anymore; why would anybody choose an obviously inferior and comparatively primitive UT fan site over shaggybevo.com...?
2) Either way, maybe you should have thought of how much you'd love seeing them "posting regularly again" before you decided to run amok with your heavy-handed, sanctimonious, and condescending administration/moderation of hornfans.com, you stupid bitch. Clearly, you really did believe the "if you don't like it, go somewhere else (because you can't)" attitude that either seeped into or was explicitly stated in your posts, which cracks me up. Try to keep up: you did this to yourself. You made a shit-ton of mistakes, but clearly the one you're still not seeing is that in the formula of a great message board community, it's the URL that's fungible, not the posting members comprising the community.

Just went looking for and found Scipios "Day in the life" classic. Couple of things. First, it was penned on September 10th, 2001. Interesting. Second, hornfans took a full minute to load. Third, there are threads on some boards from 2009. Finally, approximately 20% of the posts on that thread were from moderators saying things like "Wow, this will probably get nuked by a mod but haha.", or LHG "Don't bump threads." I hope someone has archived some of those classics somewhere for the eventual demise of that site.
Wow...what a trip down memory lane...and a train wreck for HF....still got my old screen name on over there...did a double take ...place seems like a shell of it's former self...ghost town..
So I just went over there for shits and giggles, man that place blows and I can't believe some posters still go over there. and that fucking Mira Sorvino eats an ice cream cone thread is still getting bumped.
You can hear the original LHG's blood pressure go up every time that thread gets bumped. I'm honestly surprised it was never deleted.
I wonder what happened to Katy or if she's bothered by the fact that she is almost an internet meme for crazy woman. I hope not. I really just hope she puts the whole Internet thing behind her and concentrates on raising her family. It's really slowed down on the reports of her craziness, so maybe that's the case.
I was over there looking at the threads and responses and a ton of threads had less than 10 responses...In almost every forum...
