Out of curiosity, how did you find us?
Pardon my party crashing. I had no idea this place was here; no invites, didn't see any of the posts. I Googled "hornfans" to see if I could find out why the site was down and came across their Wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornfans.
I, too, just found the site, and in exactly the same way as ^.
This is awesome. I really, really couldn't stand that site. The community was great, but the mods (LHG) could be so condescending, rude, impatient, and unreasonable. It was frustrating.

Trust me, a lot of PMs would have been sent to a lot of y'all but for HF mods reading PMs and suspending/banning people for sending invites.

HF Chat was an oasis of perversion and depravity. Not for me, of course.
thats what i was thinking, i didnt go into chat except for during games sometimes, but i remember lots of "guidlines" bieng violated pretty much constantly.
I think the guideline violation was part of the spirit that brought about this place.
There should be some way to invite all the poor SOB's like me that got banned over there.
I think we should make a deal with the Hutt. We should agree to not send any PMs or post any messages in exchange that anyone that gets suspended or banned gets notified of the option to switch to shaggy.
I'm betting she can't fucking stand it that we are getting so popular, so I doubt she'd go for that.

Hello, no-invite-giving motherfuckers. I'm not holding it against you. Most of you. Some of you. OK, I hate the lot of you for letting me suffer over there.
I want to address two things (only one in this post) and then I will never again mention the stupid site from which I have arrived:
Leaving: oh it was fun. I posted a profane but amusing "SHUT THE FUCK UP" response to some political stuff in a thread on the main board. Then, tongue still firmly in cheek, I reported my own post, saying "Sorry, just got frustrated".
You can imagine the response I got back. I was basically told, in between profanities and insults, that I would have been banned had I not self-reported-- I guess this was to induce gratitude for such munificence.
Well, fuck that. I thought about it for a while and decided that after 12,000 posts since 1999, I'd had enough of the mods and left a scorching bridge of a PM behind me as I logged out and deleted my cookie:
"I really don't give a shit"
That's really the essence of things, whether you understand it or not.
Look, don't cut me any slack out of sanctimonious benevolence. If what I posted on a silly message board deserves the heave-ho, then just sack up and do it. Don't muck around with absurd "I would ban you but...." crap; I'm not gonna read that and think, "Man, I am sure glad not to be banned!". I'll log out right now and never even know the difference. I guess if I ever change my mind, I can spoof up a new IP and pretend I like the tightass rules here.

Yeah, I caught the Megan Willis link. Solid job on the new forum guys, Hornfans mods sucked dick. I remember getting banned a few years ago for calling a dumbass a dumbass on west mall, came back awhile later and got suspended a couple times for stupid shit (including one joke about Mormons in a basketball thread during a Rockets-Jazz game).
Most excellent job you've pulled off there. And welcome. This place is so much more fun than HF even thought of being, even back in the good old days.

Wow, thanks for all the kind words. Glad to be here. I just think it's funny, I quit hornfans.com and just kind of assumed, "Well, guess I'm done posting on UT message boards forever." Then I stumble across this place the next day. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR ME, BROTHERS.
Good to see Whoo on here. One of the best on HF. Guess that means we will have some Buckeye discussion around here.
