You can be accused of sexual harassment just by telling an off-color joke in the workplace. That law may be way over the top, but it's very real.
I once fired an employee (at a software development company in Austin) who sexually harassed a young UT hire on a Saturday morning at the workplace when nobody was around to have witnessed it. Why could I do that? Because he had previously also been accused of such behavior by several other women (without witnesses) -- before I became his manager.
And that was 25 years ago. Sexual harassment incidents are taken even more seriously these days.
So, I'd suggest you lay off that behavior wherever you work. It might be your ass the next time that gets fired.
And if your employer hasn't educated you on how seriously that $#@! is taken today, they've done you a real disservice.
And, OBTW, we're not all guilty of that sort of behavior at work, so don't make a stupid sweeping accusation. Some of us actually prize our jobs and our careers.
And, yes, Cleve is a real piece of work. I've been around him enough to know. I watched how he treated people and never liked the guy. He behaved very differently around others than he did around Mack.
