not really the same. King of the Hill had a long run and the creators of the show chose to end it and go out on their own terms.
Community is still getting better all the time.

Wiki disagrees with that theory.
I'm not saying your wrong, but I feel FOX forced out KOTH.Although the series' ratings remained consistent through the 10th, 11th, and 12th seasons, and began to rise in the overall Nielsen ratings (up to the 105th most watched series on television, up from 118 in the 8th season), Fox in 2008 abruptly announced that the series had been canceled. The cancellation coincided with the announcement that Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad!, would be creating a Family Guy spin-off called The Cleveland Show. The news came out about the same time that Fox cancelled a recent addition to its animated programming lineup, Sit Down, Shut Up. This was coupled with the revelation that Cleveland would be taking over King of the Hill's timeslot.[10]
Huh. I thought I has read where the guys behind KOTH were ready to do other things. Maybe I'm wrong.
Community $#@! yeah, It also good to know that 30 rocks rating were worse than communities when they assumed that slot, so there is a chance for season 4
Hooray for Community returning! Boo for Parks and Rec leaving!
Oh, sweet baby Jesus, thank you!
Finally, news that's streets ahead.
How about this guy up on stage with him as well. I've seen him in a bunch of things in the past, always playing an idiot.

Having I been staring at that picture of Annie on all fours for so long, that I've convinced myself I see a nipple?

I posted an article he wrote about playing for UW back on the first page of this thread.
Finally. It's back. I love Annie's cleavage.
'Webster's Dictionary defines' is the Jim Belushi of speech openings: it accomplishes nothing, but everyone keeps on using it, and no one knows why.
that was a long walk for a short drink of water.
Suck it, Idol!@TVMoJoe: Stunning #Community stat: The show *beat* American Idol in A18-34, averaging a 2.8 to Idol's 2.5 from 8-8:30
I liked that, coming out of the Dream-atorium, Troy was wearing Pierce's father's ivory hairpiece.
Probably the second worst episode after jesus/abed.
Shirley's character is just too normal to be interesting.
Shirley is a worse character than Britta. Both are unfunny, but at least Britta is nice to look at.
Annie is, of course, both hot and funny. The holy grail.
Britta was incredible in the model UN episode, her acting with Chang while pretending to be be a troublemaker was a massive turnon.
Happy to have Community back but I'm not really big on episodes featuring Shirley. She has her funny moments but very rarely has a funny episode.
I loved it. It was pretty clearly a tongue-in-cheek response to all the bitching about the show being too weird and inaccessible. It also seemed that there was a conscious effort to humanize basically every character, which I imagine was also a response to how despicable Jeff and Pierce have been pre-hiatus. It wasn't necessarily the funniest episode, but I think Dan Harmon had a specific goal in mind when producing it.
$#@!ty episode to lead in after a hiatus, although my expectations were probably unreasonably high.
i started re-watching season 1 on dvd the other day and while i remember the show getting off to somewhat of a rough start, i have to say that i am loving the early episodes right now. the pilot was pretty meh, but after that, most of the episodes i have watched (i'm through the christmas episode where they all get in a fight with the gang of shirtless bullies) have been fantastic. it is especially fun to see how annie's character progresses early on -- at first she didn't really have much to do, but it didn't take long for her to become one of the best characters on the show.
anyway, if anyone else remembers the first half of season 1 being a bit shaky, i recommend going back and watching them again.
