with 2k11 I maybe played 5-6 games outside of myplayer, this is my first real experience since the xbox EA Live and Dreamcast 2k days. its a bit difficult to get used to broadcast view and you will have to remember the passing lanes aren't as open as they might "appear" to be.(mainly because the CPU ai is cheap with your passes unless you learn to use zone passing, which I haven't learned to do...)
so just heads up, if you actually get to play more user games in our OA here is kinda a breakdown.
Chicago, Dallas and Washington(myself) tend to play a more simulation/real style game. slower and running the offense, lower scores.
New York and Minnesota play a more run and gun style, they will streak up and down the court playing a 1man or 2man style offense. much higher scoring and fast paced.
Oklahoma City is a newb to NBA like you, he is learning as he goes... when he plays.
that being said, Minn and myself play more often, chicago and dallas play semi-regularly, new york and OKC play rarely.
